Former Coach's Corner co-host Ron MacLean to attend Liberal Party fundraiser


The former co-host of "Coach's Corner" Ron MacLean will be attending a virtual Liberal Party of Canada fundraiser.

The Liberal MP for Milton, Adam van Koeverden, announced the event in a Facebook post, where he wrote "Our friend Ron MacLean has very generously offered to help us finish 2020 with a little fundraiser to ensure that our next election is well funded."

To attend the event, donors can expect to pay $400. Van Kooeverden flipped the riding of Milton in 2019, defeating former Conservative Party deputy leader Lisa Raitt.

Canada isn't the USA. Just because someone has a different opinion politically doesn't immediately make them the enemy.

You are right. No matter how dumb the vote, he is allowed to vote for the Liberals, and even help them at fund-raisers. I am assuming this is repaying a favor to someone for not getting canned like Don Cherry did from the CBC.

I was just trying to come with ideas as to why would anyone want to help the current iteration of the Liberals. It would just feel so dirty, knowing that their leader is a Castro-lover and a meat-head.

I lost a lot of respect for Ron when he did not stand up for Cherry.

Very sad it just goes to show the man he is not. I don;t care to listen to him any more.
