First right thing these 2 knuckle heads have done in last 24 hours. They did the crime so charge them as adults, so they can do the time.

If you are 16 or 17 years old and you have been charged with murder, attempted murder, manslaughter, or aggravated sexual assault, your trial will automatically be moved to adult court unless your lawyer can convince the judge to keep the trial in the Youth Court.

Yes, the 17 year old was driving the car. Not sure what the "desk job" has to do with anything. I'm more frustrated with our legal system and will hope the 17 year old is charged and expected to be handled as an adult in this case.

Lawyer for the 17 year old is upset that his name had been released - guess she forgot there had to be an appllcation made to the Yourth Division for it to be made public.

^^^ so I suspect there is something on this fallen officers body-cam that crown feels deserves first degree murder.
