What gets me with one of these types of incidents, the media advise us that "such a violation can carry a maximum $100,000 find and up to a year in jail", then when the little   s are caught they're given a warning.

This ‘pilot’ is also breaking several Transport Canada rules and possibly Kelowna Parks Bylaw.

I see red when I see someone parking or parked in a handicap spot when they don't have a hanger and don't appear handicapped.

However, if I see a vehicle with a hanger, I give the benefit of the doubt to the driver who has parked there, I assume either they, or someone they are dropping off or picking up is handicapped.

It seems like we're all going to require body cameras to protect ourselves by being able to ID whoever takes it upon themselves to become a vigilante for whatever perceived wrong they see us commit.

I don't think these "good citizens" who feel it's their duty to enforce laws, are stupid though. A burley guy riding a motorcycle who parks in a handicap spot, will likely not be approached, the vigilante having other things on their mind (like keeping their teeth).
