Trump - life after the presidency

Post by PoplarSoul »

To be a fly on the wall at Mar-a-Lago.
The family dinner conversations must be very interesting.

Manhattan's district attorney has convened a grand jury that is expected to decide whether to indict Donald Trump, which indicates he feels he has evidence of a crime by the former president or someone close to him or by his company, the Washington Post reported on Tuesday.

They would be fascinating in fact. I would love to be at Mar-a-Lago right now. To talk to and listen to a coherent person who was recently President and did so much to promote peace in the Middle East! What an honour!

Why would Joe Biden be at Mar-a-Lago?

It must be difficult for the Trump sycophants at Mar a Lago if they are given a white napkin. What a mess for those brown-nosers if they have to dab their faces!
Just yuck.
But, I guess it is worth it for those whose fantasies are having a poorly conceived, overpriced dinner at a sad, dark resort in the orbit of a loser politician who cannot accept the thrashing he received.

The 80’s called and want their food and buildings back. Life after the presidency must be truly depressing.

Just yuck x2.

I'm sure Trump is just as coherent now as he was while at the White House.

Trump quote:
“Look, having nuclear — my uncle was a great professor and scientist and engineer, Dr. John Trump at MIT; good genes, very good genes, OK, very smart, the Wharton School of Finance, very good, very smart — you know, if you’re a conservative Republican, if I were a liberal, if, like, OK, if I ran as a liberal Democrat, they would say I’m one of the smartest people anywhere in the world — it’s true! — but when you’re a conservative Republican they try — oh, do they do a number — that’s why I always start off: Went to Wharton, was a good student, went there, went there, did this, built a fortune — you know I have to give my like credentials all the time, because we’re a little disadvantaged — but you look at the nuclear deal, the thing that really bothers me — it would have been so easy, and it’s not as important as these lives are — nuclear is so powerful; my uncle explained that to me many, many years ago, the power and that was 35 years ago; he would explain the power of what’s going to happen and he was right, who would have thought? — but when you look at what’s going on with the four prisoners — now it used to be three, now it’s four — but when it was three and even now, I would have said it’s all in the messenger; fellas, and it is fellas because, you know, they don’t, they haven’t figured that the women are smarter right now than the men, so, you know, it’s gonna take them about another 150 years — but the Persians are great negotiators, the Iranians are great negotiators, so, and they, they just killed, they just killed us, this is horrible.”

It just seems funny that Trump was not very relevant before he became president. While he was president he pumped up his relevancy helped by being president but basically proving why he shouldn't be relevant. And now he's gone back to irrelevancy except for the fact that people finally took notice of his shenanigans before and during the presidency so he'll end up going under the microscope.

And just as funny and entertaining. Especially when making fun of the brain-dead idiot Left. I can just imagine hours of fun making fun of the brain-dead Democrats and Stumble-bum Joe, as well as Obama (his name be praised!!) and all the stupidity that his evil administration was responsible for. I couldn't think of a better guy to hang out with and talk about how dumb the Left is. Life after the presidency for Trump - wow that would be so great to be a part of something like that.

Funny in what way? In how silly this statement is? Of course Trump was relevant before he became president. What nonsense.

I think life after the presidency might be stretching it, but five to ten years certainly isn’t out of the question.

Donald Trump's slide into obscurity didn't start on January 6th, but it gained a lot of momentum. Since then the Repubican Party has been active in their efforts to distance themselves from both the man and his term as president, efforts seen as a matter of survival for the GOP. That is the least of Trump's problems at this point, looming court actions and over a billion dollars in debt are more immediate threats. As much as the GOP would rather he just went away, courts and creditors are rarely so forgiving. Banks that financed his operations for decades are backing away from him, and Wall Street is treating the tarnished Trump brand with serious skepticism. There doesn't appear to be much light at the end of the tunnel for the Trump train.
