Thanks to stuphoto for providing me with the idea and inspiration to bend wood.

For those that haven't see it yet, check out his workmanship here viewtopic.php?p=2829983#p2829983

Love it Alan,
The bent wood looks great.
I will definitely be doing the Okanagan loop next week with a big white boat on the roofrack, and would love to stop by if you are free.

Thanks! Completely built from dead fall already on site and leftover materials from friends. Cost of build is currently zero dollars. Well except for gas I suppose.

Here is the last shed I built. The front 1/3 was a "fort" for his two boys, the back 2/3 was his garden tools shed and winter storage for all the family's bikes. There was a movable wall in between, so that when they needed more room, just had to take take out a few screws and slide the wall back.

Sled camping, somewhere cool to hike to, whatever people want. Just something cool to have made and a fun way to spend weekends. We're adding a bed, wash basin and wood stove. I'll put a guest book in when it's finished. We might build two more there. I'll PM you address.

Hola, Still here. :130: The trellis has 6 rafters up and I cut the other 7 just the other night. They are drying a bit before I give them a light sand ( 36 grit) and stain. Cut to size and up they go, have a bit of concrete to put around the bottom of the concrete footings to blend with the existing slab.
This and taking the old cedar siding off to replace with hardi plank. A peak in the roof had issues so I had to sort that out and make new supports? for the new soffit material. ( stained pine T&G) Plane the fir facia down to about 1.5" thick maybe as well.

Doing this while sourcing out a fishing boat. Bit particular in what I wanted, we needed and found a 16.5 Princecraft in Chilliwack. Doggies will love it...I hope.
So, I'll be back on the trellis this week so I have room for more staining of soffit T&G.
Kathy's murder has bummed me out as well.
