Often the "like" button was used by your tribe to like what you said without further explanation.

We all knew who our tribe was by whom liked what. FIVE likes from like minded people? That's your tribe. Usually. You def knew who stood where.

As for the "Don't like" button, that will definitely show you your anti-tribe.

I have to admit I actually am missing the “Like button”, until it somehow returns I will be using this instead

Unfortunately this could be a pain in the , and add useless sections to threads..... so just bring back something thumbs up and thumbs down.

The 'like' button was handy for certain times when two or
more posters are at odds on a subject or opposed view.
Then a bit of common ground is found.

That one little 'like' can change all the future encounters by showing a
small opening of mind.

Maybe just me.

I'd like to 'like' a persons post (if warranted) even if in past encounters
they'd prefer to stab me in the eye.

I wouldn't mind it back. Would like it deleted from young kids diction though. Sick of listening them interject the word "like "every second or third word. Wonder what their essays look like?
