Terrorists cannot operate independently ? I thought terrorism is more define by the act itself than any affiliation with groups.

I think that it usually means you belong to a group, but it really shouldn't matter because people are terrorized all the same. Listening to Alya Ramadan on CBC radio talk about this, that yes, Muslims are rightfully scared when this happened, and thus it is terrorism even if you don't officially call it that.

what reasons ?

I recall when CBC cut off comments on any story that concerned native Indians. They stated that too many people in their offices were upset with the comments.

The other day though they did allow comments, forget the actual story, but all the comments were heavily moderated. Those that did appear were very favourable in their outlook to the natives in the story. On a story that normally would have received a thousand or more comments, there might have been a hundred or so.

Btw, one can criticize O'Toole any which way you want on CBC, but try a similar comment on Trudeau, and it gets

That man was clearly emotionally disturbed and not a terrorist. That's how things work in this PC era we live in now. I also don't recall Jagmeet bursting into tears over this Edmonton "mostly not terrorist" attack, though if he did I would apologize.
