Should we stop the taxpayers' bailout of CBC?

Yes, they need to make it on their own

These media sources have a slight to moderate liberal bias.  They often publish factual information that utilizes loaded words (wording that attempts to influence an audience by using appeal to emotion or stereotypes) to favor liberal causes.

Trudeau just gave a CBC lackey a salary of $289,000 per year, plus a $260,000 per year, for life, pension.

She worked for the CBC in the seventies. She has done more since then.
I like this pick. Older smarter and indigenous.
She has to watch her back around Trudeau though.

Oh this gal here?.......what a great choice for Governor General. Thanks for pointing this out.
In an ideal world, the choice of governor-general should be above politics, and so far, so good. Praise has come from Conservative Leader Erin O’Toole and NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh. The Bloc Québécois didn’t have much good to say, but that was more about the institution of the Crown than Simon herself. Even Jody Wilson-Raybould, the former justice minister who is normally critical of everything the Trudeau government does in the realm of Indigenous issues, had praise.

This is what 11 years as a governor-general-in-waiting buys you — patience and credibility. The fact that Simon was seen as a serious contender by a Conservative, then a Liberal government is a good sign.

So are her impeccable credentials. As someone who has served as an ambassador, a cultural leader, a journalist and a constitutional negotiator, she has amassed all the skills a governor general needs for a job heavy on ceremony, diplomacy, communication and symbolism.

Simon’s familiarity with the Constitution is not a small thing. The governor general can be called upon to be a referee in times of intense political stress, as Jean was during the so-called “coalition crisis” between Stephen Harper and the opposition in late 2008.

He'll use her so he can call an election, then fire her and blame Stephen Harper.

Justin Trudeau's track record with indigenous women is very poor.

Amazing what happens when you utilize the vetting process that was put in by your much smarter predecessor, rather than being an arrogant jerk and just over-riding them to appoint a complete babbling idiot who ends up resigning in shame. Amazing!!

CBC isn't familiar with the west coast. Good grief!

Everything stops at Justin's stronghold.

You are giving JT 40 IQ points more than he deserves.
