JWR good riddance. She sat around one night sipping wine with her bff Phillpott getting more and more intoxicated in girl power with the spice girls vinyl in the back round. Concocting a way to stab Trudeau in the back and start a mutiny. This was how she was wanting to bring about her dads prophecy of her being a PM.

She didn't do as she was told - and did not review if there was anything that could be done to protect workers all across Canada from executive shenanigans and fraud. JWR chose to ignore those Canadians and their livelihoods and create a political issue around the issue. Trying to embroil Justin and his chief in a scandal that wasn't really a scandal at all.

As a result of not performing her duties effectively - she was moved from her position and into the indigenous portfolio. Which we saw afterwards - she spit in the face of her people and refused the job. A job she was best qualified to fill. Then years later as an independent she chose to be obtuse and leave her offices so the new liberal minister could move in. Again - an effort to find another 30 seconds of relevance. Meanwhile Phillpott has been invisible since the drama.

If these 2 women didn't see themselves as wonder women their standing would be solid in the Liberal party and they would have moved from strength to strength. Now we have the politically street smart woman politician Freeland as deputy PM and a prominent portfolio that really gets your name on the map. Soon Freeland will be able to relinquish the portfolio to an actual banking savant in Carney. Because McKenna was treated so toxically by conservatives for her service to the country.

I'm looking forward to another Liberal majority. And putting JWR in the rear view mirror once and for all. Onwards and upwards.

Great points. She as an Alpha had problems being told what to do by men. And it was evident that she had a clear agenda to bring down JT and his staff. That shouldn't have been the way to try to bring about her fathers boast to Trudeau Sr that his daughter would eventually be the PM of Canada. What is actually funny is when Conservative shills use JWR as a rallying cry against feminism. Especially considering that conservatives wouldn't just stand up to strong women - they would systemically try to take away their reproductive rights.
