Bloody hell. I hope it’s fixed soon

I live in Kelowna and my lights dimmed down at least 3 times during that time.
And I'm with Fortis.
Strange.
Must be the aliens.

I will be going home tomorrow, so hope all is well
I place one of those silvered car windshield protectors over the top of freezer goods. In an event like this, it helps keep temp down.
But, it won’t be much help over 4 days of a power failure

I live in Glenmore (Kelown) and my lights are still at half brightness. They have been flickering for the last hour and a half.

Re: Massive Power Outage
I have a theory.
It involves a transmission line and get this, a wildfire that's blowing up this afternoon. A completely wild speculation based largely on Occam's razor. Lucky for Vernon there's two feeds, because if my theory is proven true, it will be a while before anyone can get in there and make repairs.

I agree, thank you. Unplugged everything and just leaving a light on to see when it comes back to normal. I heard my wall AC slow down as well at the same time. Unplugged that too.

Re: Massive Power Outage
Last time there was a huge power outage in my area it went down shortly after 7:00PM. Checked the hydro web site occasionally using my cell phone for any updates. Got the crews assigned message, then crews enroute to area. Gave up checking around midnight and hit the sack. Power was on in the morning - check hydro's web site and it said power had been restored around 2:45AM.
