Oh Noooo......for all the Trump supporters. I hate to be the bearer of bad news but look at who's getting hit with fraudulent intent. The key witness that's needed to put Trump behind bars. I thought that testimony would come from A. Weisselberg but looks like it's going to come from his daughter in law instead.
A witness in the New York investigation against the Trump Organization has told prosecutors that Donald Trump personally guaranteed he would cover school costs for the family members of two employees in lieu of a raise—directly implicating the former president in an ongoing criminal tax fraud case.

The explosive claims come from Jennifer Weisselberg, the ex-wife of a longtime company employee, during a teleconference call with investigators on Friday, June 25, according to two sources who agreed to speak on the condition of anonymity.

On that afternoon's Zoom call, those sources said, investigators with the Manhattan district attorney and New York state attorney general asked Jennifer Weisselberg whether Trump himself was involved in the company’s alleged tax-dodging scheme of making corporate gifts instead of increasing salary that would be taxed.

He was, she answered.

Weisselberg then provided key details for investigators. In January 2012, inside Trump’s office at Trump Tower on Fifth Avenue, Jennifer Weisselberg watched as Trump discussed compensation with her husband and her father-in-law, both company employees. Her husband wouldn’t be getting a raise, but their children would get their tuition paid for at a top-rated private academy instead.

The Family Secrets Fueling the Trump Organization Indictment

Weisselberg allegedly relayed to prosecutors that Trump turned to her and said: "Don’t worry, I’ve got it covered.”

Prosecutors were astonished, according to one source.

The Daily Beast received descriptions of the call from two people familiar with the details of the call.

If true, Jennifer Weisselberg’s claims would directly tie Trump to what a New York criminal indictment described as a corporate scheme to pay executives “in a matter that was ‘off the books.’”

“The scheme allowed the Trump Organization to evade the payment of payroll taxes that [it] was required to pay,” an indictment for the Trump Organization claims. On the flip side, it also alleges that executives avoided having to pay income taxes on a huge chunk of their pay.

This isn't as bad a news as the first link but it's got to be a major blow to the fragile ego of the blow hard ex Clown in Chief of the US. He can't even out sell the Bugs Bunny Show. [icon_lol2.gif]

Ticket sales are moving slowly for the coming Trump-O’Reilly stadium tour
Donald Trump is having trouble selling advance tickets for his upcoming speaking tour with conservative pundit Bill O’Reilly, according to interviews with ticketing officials for the venues.......

“There’s still a lot of tickets open.” The person, who like others for this story insisted on anonymity to share confidential sales data, added: “We have concerts that are doing a lot better than this.” A Bad Bunny concert being held next March recently sold out within two days, for example, and the majority of seats for a Dec. 3 Kane Brown concert have been sold already........

At the 20,000-seat American Airlines Center in Dallas, home to the NBA’s Dallas Mavericks and NHL’s Dallas Stars, a large number of seats remain open for the Dec. 19 Trump-O’Reilly event............

For Trump’s Houston event with O’Reilly at the 19,000-seat Toyota Center, home to the NBA’s Houston Rockets, 60 to 65 percent of seats remain unsold....“It hasn’t been [selling] like crazy,” the person added, noting that events for comedian Katt Williams and podcast star Joe Rogan have done “significantly” better than the Trump-O’Reilly duo thus far......

As of Thursday evening, Ticketmaster pages for the Orlando, Dallas and Sunrise events and the Axs page for the Houston event show wide swathes of available seats, with some large sections only having sold a few tickets.........

But former presidents — and even their spouses — don’t usually encounter hurdles in selling out their appearances and speeches. Tickets for Michelle Obama’s “Becoming” book tour in 2018, for example, sold quickly, with most tickets for her Chicago United Center stop selling out within minutes and the cheapest tickets for all the venues selling out in less than two days..........

Bill and Hillary Clinton’s joint Live Nation tour in 2018 and 2019, meanwhile, saw events sell out within a week or two weeks, according to a person familiar with that tour, although the venues were smaller than the four Trump events.

For Trump, who is famously crowd-obsessed, lagging ticket sales numbers complicate the image he promotes of himself as a top draw. The tour represents a chance to speak to devoted fans, many of whom still consider him to be the legitimate president. It also provides him an opportunity to earn money and lay more groundwork for a potential 2024

That's gotta hurt for Trump, to be outsold by the Clinton's and Michelle Obama.

Not only that but since Ronald Reagan, corporations have spent millions hiring Republican and Democrat ex-Presidents to do speeches at corporate events but they aren't spending a nickel on Donald, so he has to go on a speaking tour with Bill O'Reilly and try to suck more money out of his following, who according to this are getting tired of putting out good money to listen to the blowhard speak.

His base is still spending money to hear the same, tired old speech, over and over again. “The election was rigged, blah, blah, blah”. “I am the smartest person in the world, blah, blah, blah”. “Only I can solve all of the world’s problems, blah, blah, blah”. If his hillbilly base wants to keep throwing money at him, they are getting what they deserve.

Not really true. They just want to hear the truth. And hear about how what a giant piece of garbage the current regime that took over has been. Just the dumbest and the worst. Trump would have been a much better president than the dementia-addled imbecile that is in power now. It's beyond obvious.

Ahhhh.....the continuing saga of.....As Trump's World Turns. Here's today's episode.....

Trump and the GOP spin fantasies to hide his crimes against the Constitution
t's gone beyond whitewashing history. Ex-President Donald Trump and his House Republican enablers are now spinning fantastical inversions to hide his crimes against the Constitution on January 6.
Trump insisted that the mob that marched from his rally on that fateful day to invade the US Capitol were a "very loving crowd" in excerpts from audio interviews released on CNN by two Washington Post reporters in a new book on the ex-President's last days in office.........

It was the latest incarnation of a now classic tactic among pro-Trump Republicans and his media propagandists -- an effort to not just excuse the former President's conduct but to comprehensively alter the facts and public perception of the worst attack on Congress in two centuries. The shape-shifting strategy isn't just a political device -- it allows those who promote it to avoid wrestling with the reality of an assault on American democracy.

Trump came across as rambling and wallowing in his own delusions in the tapes released by Carol Leonning and Phil Rucker of their interviews with him for their newly published book "I Alone Can Fix It.".........

The GOP response to Pelosi also reflected McCarthy's willingness to adopt any position seen as favorable to devotees of the ex-President who he hopes will show up on the campaign trail in midterm elections and make him speaker. And a news conference held by lawmakers who will now not sit on the committee underscored yet again how made for TV stunt politics pioneered by Trump have become the standard in the House GOP.........

McCarthy and fellow Trump devotee Rep. Jim Jordan of Ohio -- one of the lawmakers blocked by the speaker -- are seeking to blame Pelosi for the insurrection -- rather than the ex-President who called a crowd to Washington and then goaded it with false claims that the election was rigged.
They implicitly argued that a mob waving Trump flags that smashed into the Capitol, beat up police officers and halted the certification of Biden's election win while calling for then-Vice President Mike Pence to be hanged were not at fault. They said Pelosi was culpable for not providing sufficient security to keep lawmakers safe.
Their absurd gambit offered a preview of the circus of distraction that Jordan would have perpetrated had he stayed on the commission.
But most fundamentally, the Republican leadership charges that Pelosi is guilty of the very crimes against the Constitution and American democracy that Trump perpetrated showed how far the GOP has traveled from the spirit of its onetime hero, President Ronald Reagan, who once said that democracy was "the most deeply honorable form of government ever devised by man

Ouch....Trump getting trolled by his favourite athlete, Brady during the WH visit. Trump hates getting mocked, just ask his favourite mocker, President Obama.
Tuesday was not a good day for Donald Trump.
His favorite athlete went to the White House to celebrate winning the Super Bowl -- and Trump wasn't there. And what's worse? They laughed at him!.........

"Not a lot of people think that we could have won. In fact, I think about 40% of people still don't think we won. You understand that, Mr. President?" Brady said to laughter.

"I understand that," Biden chuckled.

I wonder if Trump is going to throw away Brady's jersey now. [icon_lol2.gif]

Yup. The event isn't happening for 5 months. Meanwhile Hillary sold groupons at $5 a piece and cancelled events due to lack of ticket sales and the Obamas couldn't sell out a highschool gymnasium. [icon_lol2.gif]

If Trump is as popular as you or him thinks he is, they'd be sold out by now but he's so tarnished and used up, he couldn't even outsell Biffy the Clown. My prediction is that rather than speak at barely half filled arenas, he'll cancel to save face.

This is what great President's can command after their service to their country instead of gifting like the common criminal Trump is........
The former president and former first lady received a joint $65 million advance from Penguin Random House’s Crown Publishing Group for their respective memoirs. Obama also began undertaking high-paid speaking engagements, including addresses to Wall Street financial firms, which earned him as much as $400,000 an outing as well criticism from some corners for his acceptance of extravagant fees. Supporters countered that those high fees contributed to making it possible for Obama to donate some $2 million to job-training programs for low-income residents in the Chicago area.

See the difference between people wanting to read or listen to a great man instead of a common theft? How much did you say Trump got for his book deal?........ [icon_lol2.gif] ...........Oh right, he hasn't gotten one of those because noone is interested in a traitorous serial molester like Trump.

Pathetic.

Sounds like a great plan. The American people would be served if the current administration would follow the same logic.
