Actually probably most of those leaders are sitting back sipping a cool one while laughing at Trudeau throwing Canadians money at anything that he thinks will make him popular. So far our money hasn't done anything but anything but make him look stupid on the world stage. He couldn't even buy a seat in the UN Security council. I believe I read somewhere in the past that they thought he was using dilettante foreign policy. This man is just throwing our money around in attempt to make himself look good. Someone should tell him it's an impossibility.

Uh-oh. Now a California Governor is implicated in illegal gifts from and questionable grants of funds to the Burger Boys, just like Justin Trudeau and Bill "Sticky Fingers" Morneau. And our American neighbours get to see us embarrassed again by the corrupt, immoral Justin Trudeau.

According to state public finance records, a couple of weeks before Governor Newsom spoke at WE Day 2015, records indicate Newsom made a behested payment - which according to the Fair Political Practices Commission means he requested Comcast to make a donation to the nonprofit for $242,500.

The WE Charity is in hot water again, this time with the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA), which has levied penalties against it for improperly issuing donation receipts of $1.8 million. The charity has filed an appeal with the tax court and a trial date must now be scheduled.

A parliamentary committee issued a scathing report Thursday on the Trudeau government’s now-cancelled deal with WE Charity that includes calls for stronger measures to protect against inappropriate lobbying and conflicts of interest.

The report from the House of Commons ethics committees followed months of contentious hearings and the release of thousands of pages of documents since last spring, when the government first inked the agreement with WE.

Committee members from all three main opposition parties signed off on the majority report, which focused on WE’s connections to various members of the Liberal government as well as the organization’s lobbying and business practices.

The report also called attention to the various challenges that committee members faced in conducting their study. It started last summer, was interrupted after Prime Minister Justin Trudeau prorogued Parliament in August, and then resumed in the fall.

Among the challenges was the government’s refusal to send some ministerial staff to testify on what they knew about the agreement with WE. The government argued that ministers are ultimately responsible for their staff.

A year-long investigation by the Procurement Ombudsman on Monday revealed departments typically called We Charity with confidential contract offers, then worked out the price later.

None of the six contracts "clearly showed the estimated cost had been established before the department contacted We Charity about its requirement."

$24,996 from the Privy Council Office, a figure $4 below the threshold mandating open bids.

We Charity hired then-Finance Minister Bill Morneau’s daughter out of college, covered $41,366 in expenses to host Morneau’s family at resorts in Kenya and Ecuador, and paid members of the Prime Minister’s family $481,751 in fees, gifts and free trips to London and New York.
