Who should be blamed for bad decisions?
Who should be blamed for bad decisions?
Should it be the politicians?
The people?
The scientists?
Or people controlling what information people get to see?

As an adult, you only have yourself to blame for your bad decisions.edmskeptic wrote: ↑Aug 21st, 2021, 2:12 pm Who should be blamed for bad decisions?

There, the question has been answered.

I thought people would be smarter than this. Here's something to think about if you want to exercise your brain.
If a decision is made based on false information, is the decision maker to blame?
Or is it the perpetrator of falsehoods?
Or is it the person(s) who prevented access to information that could dispel the misinformation?

Re: Who should be blamed for bad decisions?
The case law is pretty clear.
There was a case from about 20 years ago, (maybe more), where a patient with sinusitis went to see a naturopath and was given treatment that worked very well for over a year.
However, the patient eventually ended up with arsenic poisoning and sued the naturopath.
The naturopath won because the patient did not do their "Due Diligence" in informing themselves about what exactly they were taking from the naturopath.
Due diligence is very important in the legal world, and as far as BC courts are concerned, "taking a Doctor's word for it" does not constitute due diligence.

All anyone can do is fully investigate & seeking actual creditable sources, even with all this... sometimes happens.
I don't give a damn whether people/posters like me or dislike me, I'm not on earth to win any popularity contests.

I blame it on my parents,
Mr and Mrs Grinch.
I blame it on the ex,
who would never give an inch.
I blame it on the principle,
who's strap caused me pain,
I blame in the musician,
who told me to blame the rain.
I would blame myself,
but that would be insane.
Especially when there so many,
who I have yet to blame.
