This election, vote ABLNDP - anyone but those scumbag NDP or scumbag Liberals. "Justinda Trudeau" must go. No more global elitist scum in charge of our resources and our democracy.

I hope you show up to vote on Sept 30th.

Are you willing to vote for people who call the terrorist Taliban "brothers?"
I'm not upset about that because she a Muslim and they call each other "sisters" and "brothers" all the time. I've heard them call each other that countless times so that is nothing new. Did anyone notice a couple lines after she said that, Ms. Monsef called the Taliban terrorists . I'm thinking that was missed if those rose colored partisan blinders were on or of those eyes were wide shut.

Just noticed that? [icon_lol2.gif] Harper escalated it and had us in full retreat in 2011 through 2014......still all on him for not getting all the Afghanis that helped us out of the country. That's all on Harper......not JT who was elected one year after Harper pulled us out of Afghanistan. That's the real history of our involvement in Afghanistan, we followed Bush into that country and it was Harper that led the retreat 13 years later and JT was elected a year AFTER Canada left Afghanistan.

Okay, you just be sure to mark your calendar to go vote on Sept 30th.

We wouldn't want you to miss your chance to exercise your right to vote.

I wonder how many innocent Afghanis will be dead by Sept 30th?

Canadian troops will be out of Afghanistan within 24 hours.

Justin "promised" to bring out 20,000 Afghans to Canada.
How has he done?

"Canada has airlifted over 2,700 people out of Kabul," Mendicino said during a press briefing, noting the figure includes Canadian nationals, refugees, and other foreign nationals.

Whenever Justin brings up numbers, they always go the wrong way for him.

Reading about the last flight out this morning, and I can't believe they left Canadians behind. They still had a couple of days to get more out. Yes they had a suicide bombing at the airport, but now those Canadian lives left are worthless to the Taliban. Why didn't our government listen months ago and get out the translators and Canadians then, instead of leaving it until now and the mess. Taliban are not going to live up to their word. If anyone thinks that women will be allowed to still do schooling etc they have a screw loose. 20 years of fighting there and training the Afghani Forces for nothing. The Afghani military never had any intent on protecting their people when they had the US and Canada there. My opinion on it all. Feel for those left behind.

Justin promises 20,000.

He gets 3,700.

He's too busy coming up with new taxes on poor people via bank fees and insurance premiums to care about the 16,000+ left behind that will probably be murdered. They're just collateral damage in his failed bid for power. :swear: :swear: :swear:

I hope Canadians hold him responsible for all these lost lives at the ballot box!

We should have been getting them out in the 2011-2014 period as we ended our military presence in Afghanistan. Unfortunately the CPC government at the time, and immigration minister Jason Kenney, choose to take the attitude "they got paid, they knew the risks".

Yup, there has been time since then to rectify things somewhat, but politically both the CAQ and CPC were busy stirring up Islamophobic nonsense and anti-refugee nonsense making it difficult. Point blank we all "turned our eyes away" as Canadians and forgot about the issue - and thus left it too late. To be honest, the issue with interpreters et al in Afghanistan had dropped away from my attention for 4-5 years. Part of that is politics, part of that is "well, we are out of there". I certainly can't recall any mention of that particular issue in the 2019 election.

Events have caught up with us as Canadians, and unfortunately we have not lived up to our moral obligations. Very few of us can claim any "high ground" on that, and certainly not any of our politicians. I do mean ANY of our politicians regardless of party.
The middle path - everything in moderation, and everything in its time and order.

Dun....dun....dun.....because anything JT does now in Afghanistan is a bonus because he was elected a year after Emperor Harper's departure. It's a miracle JT got as many as he has because the Taliban has overrun Afghanistan due having no troops to cover the allies evacuation. Apparently, most of them were sent home according to a treaty signed with the US and Taliban.

You said it, GB.

So apparently Trudeau's apologists want us to believe Harper should have somehow gotten all dictatorial on any Canadians or Afghani allies who who didn't want to leave Afghanistan in 2011-2014, and forced them to leave Afghanistan in 2011-2014 even though they didn't want to. Just in case, you know, Afghanistan became too risky a place for them to live and work and visit at some point in the future.

Apparently Harper should have known that in the future, we would have a Canadian government too stupid or too callous or too oblivious to the risk people living and working and visiting family in Afghanistan were facing to help them leave Afghanistan in a timely fashion.

How stupid do these Trudeau apologists think Canadians are?

We can see who dropped the ball on this. We know the current government wasn't paying attention. We know Trudeau's promise to take in 20,000 refugees in no way makes up for his government neglecting to do their job.

And Justin did NOTHING when Erin O'Toole told him to get his *bleep* together on July 22nd.
