That might have been worth some attention had it come from a real journalist and not some far right pamphleteer like Brian Lilley.

Nobody was challenging these peoples' right to protest, it's the way they chose to do it. Hurling obscenities and drowing out the speaker is not protest, it's subverting the democratic process. Let him speak, and let the audience make up their own minds.
What an utter load of pure bull :cuss:, I thought you of all people would be above dismissing a journalist based on their political leanings, documented facts are documented facts regardless of whoever doing the reporting, period... By the way, did you speak out against Liberal and NDP protesters when they were loudly and rudely interrupting Harpers rallies back in 2015 ?

Lilley's own quote:
I’m not going to defend Friday night’s protest. Making our voices heard is our God given right, protected by the Charter, but have a little class. The people hurling obscenities and shutting down Trudeau’s event went too far and didn’t help whatever point they were trying to make.
My condemnation of Lilley as a hack is well founded, from his begining as co-founder of RebelNews to his current gig as anti-anything-not-far-right. Lilley does for true journalism much the same that Alpha-Getti does for Italian cuisine.
When asked what he thought of Western civilization, Mahatma Ghandi replied "I think it would be a very good idea."

No it's not. This is pure nonsense. Brian Lilley is an amazing journalist. I was actually floored when I heard his voice during those early COVID days when the cowardly Justin would emerge from hiding for an hour a day to give his "COVID updates", and then take questions from journalists. It only happened once, but I couldn't believe that he got through to ask a question. The rest of the reporters were all from the Mop and Pail and CBC. Good on ya Brian!
There's no such thing as gay rights, minority rights, trans rights or women's rights.

There are only individual rights. Either we all have the same rights, or we're just groups of special interests fighting for preferential treatment.

I would bet most of the Telfordites here were participating in those anti-Harper rallies.
