YouTube
Runkle of the Bailey
He is a Canadian criminal defence and firearms lawyer.
Some really good videos.
He has over 200.
Click videos on his home page to see all of his stuff.

I find it strange from one of his videos that the SS-211 shorty shotgun is unrestricted.
Good bush gun for big animals charging you or a home invader.
YouTube or Google search for Sulan Arms SS-211 range test and review.

Read the first paragraph and see how this applies directly to Trudeau and his Liberals. The Taliban are demanding everyone give up their firearms.

Once again Trudeau doubles down on stupidity. How about you go after criminals, what a bunch of dolts

snip
But it also includes new pledges, including an $800-million promise to force people who own banned assault weapons to either sell their guns back to the government or have them “rendered permanently inoperable.” The Liberals had previously said this buyback program would be voluntary.

In other efforts to curb gun violence, the party says it will ban the sale or transfer of magazines that can hold more than a legal number of bullets, and earmark $1 billion in support to provinces and territories that choose to implement a ban on handguns.

Interestingly, all assault weapons were banned in Canada in the 1970's.

Will double-banning them stop gangsters from smuggling them into Canada? :135:

SKS is one of the most popular deer hunting rifles.

Cheap to buy, dependable, accurate enough at 100 yards. Lots of younger folks that can't afford a new Tikka or Win 70 opt for the SKS.

And ammo is cheap like borsht, Comrade!

Trudeau wants to ban every deer hunting and duck hunting firearm. Don't fool yourself thinking he's going to stop after his OIC fiasco.

Gangs (or mass shooter/s) can still get whatever type of gun they what because no government in Canada has been able to shutdown the black market.

Just on this point, Gun control is a failure.

Actually Trudeau and Blair's gun control measures are more than a failure, they have done zero in stopping criminal shootings and have inflicted unwarranted punitive measures on law abiding citizens, that have done nothing to warrant this treatment by the Liberal government. The cost of this virtue signalling Liberal gun control failure can be measured in dollars, sense, mental health, and our ability or right to own property.

And there you have it.

Vote Conservative.

O'Toole plan to tackle gun crime tops Trudeau's empty rhetoric

“Gang violence has increased dramatically since the Liberals took office,” O’Toole said. “In fact, since they took office, homicides have risen 20% driven in large part by gang violence across the country.”

It was a smart move by O’Toole. The Liberals promise their gun control will make streets safer, but the increases in shootings and murders by gang members says otherwise. Instead of shying away from the issue, O’Toole pointed out that the Liberals are all talk and no action.

snip

When a reporter asked Blair, Trudeau’s public safety minister, why the murder rate went down by 8% under the Harper Conservatives but has gone up 20% under the Trudeau Liberals, he went off in all directions.

Blair spoke at length about cuts to police budgets that he said the Conservatives made in 2013. Well, Blair was first elected in 2015 and has been part of the government from the beginning.

If the Liberals think that budget cuts made eight years ago are the problem, they’ve had six years to fix it.

The truth is that the Liberals simply don’t want to do the hard work of going after criminals when it’s so much easier to change regulations for licensed owners and tell the public that they are doing something when they clearly are not.

snip

The Conservative plan isn’t just about cracking down on crime, it’s about helping youth in troubled neighbourhoods find a way out through a gang exit strategy, including working with the private sector to create job opportunities.

With gun crime a problem across the country, the Trudeau Liberals want to focus on the gun and not the crime. They want to change regulations for licensed gun owners rather than stop the gangsters shooting up peaceful neighbourhoods.

O’Toole’s Conservatives actually want to do the hard work and solve the problems at the core. It’s why their plan will actually work.

Sorry I haven't read all 68 pages on this thread...

The IOC re: Bill C-71 is terrible and it directly affects gun owners, businesses, and clubs across Canada. I just hope the rest of Canada will wake up and realize that Trudeau and the Liberals are pushing this country closer and closer to martial law, yes COVID is a no brainer, but the push to have the RCMP control what used to be the responsibility of the Governor in Council could lead to a complete ban if the RCMP wishes it at any time. Yes the RCMP currently has administrative control, but they didn't control the classification of firearms in the past.

If the Liberals are allowed to continue when does the power grab stop once they unfairly removed the rights of millions of hunters, sporting, and recreational gun owners for votes. Where does the unchecked power stop after Bill C-71? Remember Bill C-10, Bill C-36, etc... Now common sense in me wont stand for hate, but these bills can be abused and cut off dialogue from people with differing opinions. When will restrictions on freedoms continue to be veiled under the blanket of Liberalism only to discover we have all been lead into a prison? (Oh and don't forget Bill C-74 abused our wallets)

I always think of politics as a huge pendulum that takes years if not decades to swing, the sad conclusion is if the pointer swings too far, in this current state that would be left... then it will eventually swing just as far back to the right, and history shows what that does. So for the sake of balance lets get the pendulum closer to the center before it has as a chance to swing too far in either direction.

How are those attacks on law-abiding firearms owners working out, Justin?

Perhaps targeting criminals instead of deer hunters and hard working farmers would bring better results.

The Liberals have done nothing to curb criminal gun use, then lowering minimum sentences for crimes involving firearms !! You can't fix stupid. You'd stand a far better chance at saving a life by taking away someone's car, or banning Tide Pods

If I'm not mistaken, Justin's Tide-Pod-Fully-Semi-Automatic-Assault-Machine-Gun-Weapon is over the pod magazine capacity limit.

He should be charged criminally and banned from eating Tide Pods for 20 years!
