Hello?-Is this the Covid Help Line
Do you ever wonder if those in charge, really know what is going on?
On July 1 Dr Henshaw in charge of Alberta's Health protocols announced Alberta would be wide open, all restrictions lifted;no testing no nothing.
Today, the same Dr.Henshaw announced she made a mistake.
18 thousand citizens infected with Covid; 877 in hospital, over 200 in ICU; hospitals becoming overloaded.
On the same day in July, the mayor of Kelowna announced the city was open for business and welcomed visitors.
Kelowna is now part of a provincial mandate for vaccination passports (much more ominous than certificates)
The premier of Alberta announces "he is sorry" A total shutdown is looming, with vaccine passports soon to be issued.
Listen to the professionals we are told.

The high school class would do a much better job! Simply because they couldn’t possibly do a worse job.

And then, against the decision of our neighbors, and their so called, science based decision, to keep their borders closed, JT, opens ours.Mrmarvingardens wrote: ↑Sep 15th, 2021, 8:43 pm Do you ever wonder if those in charge, really know what is going on?

I agree our borders were open too soon. Canada should not be a one way street.
"Relax, " said the night man,
"We are programmed to receive.
You can check-out any time you like,
But you can never leave!
With the closure of the Kickinghorse pass, it would be relatively easy to restrict flow from Alberta. Atlantic Canada did it before, why not BC? We stopped travel between the health authorities. Should we not try a shut down again? Tourist season is over. Sounds bad, but unless you have a vax port we should not be open to outside folks.

Re: Hello?-Is this the Covid Help Line
Shortly after the pandemic started, the four major airports in Canada were receiving thousands of flights from China, Japan, India etc. With no restrictions in place. If we had of closed our borders to international travel at the beginning I don’t think we would be in this mess.
