Bkr:Hundreds of thousands of healthcare workers fired for refusing the vaccine

Post by jcdenton »

Governments in many countries have fired, or plan to fire healthcare workers (and others) who refuse to get vaccinated. Even those who may have already been infected and recovered (which provides provably better immunity than the vaccine). So in the middle of a pandemic with a massive shortage of healthcare workers, the government plans to make the pandemic even worse. These healthcare workers, many of whom have decades of experience, have cared for people and saved lives throughout the pandemic are now considered expendable to mando-vaxxers.

For all the mando-vaxxers out there, there is now even more blood on your hands. When patients start dying because of lack of healthcare staff, you are the ones to blame. It takes years to train some of these positions. Good luck filling those.

If you shoot yourself in the foot by firing essential workers, don't complain - its your fault.

When people can't get their surgeries in time because the surgeon and nurses were fired- its your fault

Natural immunity is NOT better, that is a fallacy and a lie.
If you've had COVID-19 before, does your natural immunity work better than a vaccine?

The data is clear: Natural immunity is not better. The COVID-19 vaccines create more effective and longer-lasting immunity than natural immunity from infection.

More than a third of COVID-19 infections result in zero protective antibodies
Natural immunity fades faster than vaccine immunity
Natural immunity alone is less than half as effective than natural immunity plus vaccination
The takeaway: Get vaccinated, even if you've had COVID-19. Vaccine immunity is stronger than natural immunity.

"Natural immunity can be spotty. Some people can react vigorously and get a great antibody response. Other people don't get such a great response," says infectious diseases expert Mark Rupp, MD. "Clearly, vaccine-induced immunity is more standardized and can be longer-lasting."

Abstract
Background Reports of waning vaccine-induced immunity against COVID-19 have begun to surface. With that, the comparable long-term protection conferred by previous infection with SARS-CoV-2 remains unclear.

Methods
We conducted a retrospective observational study comparing three groups: (1)SARS-CoV-2-naïve individuals who received a two-dose regimen of the BioNTech/Pfizer mRNA BNT162b2 vaccine, (2)previously infected individuals who have not been vaccinated, and (3)previously infected and single dose vaccinated individuals. Three multivariate logistic regression models were applied. In all models we evaluated four outcomes: SARS-CoV-2 infection, symptomatic disease, COVID-19-related hospitalization and death. The follow-up period of June 1 to August 14, 2021, when the Delta variant was dominant in Israel.

Results
SARS-CoV-2-naïve vaccinees had a 13.06-fold (95% CI, 8.08 to 21.11) increased risk for breakthrough infection with the Delta variant compared to those previously infected, when the first event (infection or vaccination) occurred during January and February of 2021. The increased risk was significant (P<0.001) for symptomatic disease as well. When allowing the infection to occur at any time before vaccination (from March 2020 to February 2021), evidence of waning natural immunity was demonstrated, though SARS-CoV-2 naïve vaccinees had a 5.96-fold (95% CI, 4.85 to 7.33) increased risk for breakthrough infection and a 7.13-fold (95% CI, 5.51 to 9.21) increased risk for symptomatic disease. SARS-CoV-2-naïve vaccinees were also at a greater risk for COVID-19-related-hospitalizations compared to those that were previously infected.

Conclusions
This study demonstrated that natural immunity confers longer lasting and stronger protection against infection, symptomatic disease and hospitalization caused by the Delta variant of SARS-CoV-2, compared to the BNT162b2 two-dose vaccine-induced immunity. Individuals who were both previously infected with SARS-CoV-2 and given a single dose of the vaccine gained additional protection against the Delta variant.

The study you posted didn't declare that it has no competing interests or external funding, so in the meantime, I will wait for the Israeli study's peer review.

Kind of a watch what you wish for scenario now isn't it. Yet our very own government has promised funds to increase this workforce, wonder what kind of bailout is in place for those being fired after working through this faithfully for the past year and a half. Add that many fully vaccinated homes are having outbreaks, won't end well imo.

False misinformation. Natural immunity is provably better. Study here showed natural immunity is 13 times more robust.

https://www.medrxiv.org/content/10.1101 ... 1.full.pdf
Dr. Marty Makary, a professor at John Hopkins School of Medicine, said individuals formerly infected with COVID-19 are seven times more likely then vaccinated people to fight off the virus.

New studies are also suggesting that Pfizer vaccine has dropped to just 39% effective
https://www.cnbc.com/2021/07/23/delta-v ... lness.html
95% of the people had at least 3 out of 5 immune-system components that could recognize SARS-CoV-2 up to 8 months after infection.

Do you see that the link address in the above two posts are the same?

The one that I posted is the disclaimer that was omitted from the post above mine.

Omission of fact is a lie. I won't bother reading any further after that point.

It absolutely stuns me how many people just won't recognize that when so many health care professionals refuses something for their own health and then stand together for the betterment of their charges , they get bashed by armchair cynics who are following "THE" science .........

IF so many are saying " Go back , it's a trap" could they ALL be wrong ???

haha ya just ignore all the science you anti-science mando-vaxxer. Just ignore all the studies that contradict your misinformation.
By the way, the article you posted doesn't compare natural immunity against vaccinated. It compares natural immunity against natural immunity + the vaccine..lmao

Your article also made these claims (without sources):
Natural immunity can decay within about 90 days
Keyword: CAN

Also:
Immunity from COVID-19 vaccines has been shown to last longer.
Sometimes, not always. And where is the data on it? Because I posted sources showing natural immunity to last up to 11 months.
