I had to opt for an implant on an upper molar. The root was into my sinus and I was constantly playing is it the tooth or is it my sinus infection game. They went hand in hand. During implant they did a sinus lift, since everything healed no more tooth pain and no more sinus infections. I asked for sedation .. didn’t hear or feel a thing. Some pain afterwards but not as bad as I thought it might be. Glad I had it done.

^^ I have never heard of a sinus lift before so I googled it..I would love if I could get this done...I have a back molar where my root is a hair away from my sinus ( saw it on the xrays when I went in complaining about a tooth ache and it was actually my root just poking my sinus) I am now going to see if I can get this done...thanks for the info

Cheaper just to pull it... with root canal tooth is essentially dead and usually with X years needs to be be pulled anyway.

When in doubt - read a book about the topic. Root canals ruin your health, slowly.

I have never heard of co blows being 8 years apart ?? it's usually 1-3-5 yrs apart..it all depends on how many polyps you have and of course if you have any digestive issues...once you get your first co blow you never have to do the FIT test again because the BC Cancer Co Blow Society will demand a co blow every 1-3-5 yrs...but colon cancer is a tricky bugger..know lots of people who did the FIT with no signs of blood but demanded a co blow ( just to be safe) and ended up having many polyps removed..

no problems with root canals but I would never do an implant...besides being very pricey I just find it too scary and it seems painful..I've spent good $$ on my teeth..oral hygiene is very important to me...started taking my son to the dentist when he was a wee one so he would get comfortable going regularly..I didn't want him to become like me..scared to death every time..I still get some anxiety and I go a few times a yr for cleanings

No, it wasn’t t 8 yrs apart. I had it two years ago, and it was extended to 10 yrs, so eight years remaining.

Had an implant and it went flawlessly. Just go to a specialist.

Works good post divorce as well, newer, younger, better looking, and makes you look better if you should ever happen to see the one that was removed.
