Re: Bkr:Hundreds of thousands of healthcare workers fired for refusing the vaccine
LOL, I'm sure that there are a handful of employees who started the rumour and some of them probably decided to call in sick in protest, which doesn't equate to organized labour action sanctioned by the Union or the employees themselves, and if they did take action into their own hands, not only do they have to deal with their employer, but the Union as well - regardless, its been confirmed by various authorities, including the Union themselves, that this is just horse

LOL, FAA confirms cancelations were due to severe weather in the network and to staffing shortages in the Southeast - but you equate that to the FAA saying the weather was "excellent" - man oh man, you sure are dedicated to the narrative, aren't ya?
![:haha: [icon_lol2.gif]](./images/smilies/icon_lol2.gif)
Did you even read your article? They asked for an injunction to an existing lawsuit (that has nothing to do with vaccine mandates) - in other words, there is no "lawsuit" in regards to the vaccine mandate.jcdenton wrote: ↑Oct 22nd, 2021, 9:50 amI don't know how much more evidence you need:
"Southwest Air Pilots Seek to Block Covid Vaccination Mandate..
The new vaccine mandate unlawfully imposes new conditions of employment and the new policy threatens termination of any pilot not fully vaccinated by December 8, 2021.."
https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles ... on-mandate
In other words, the mandate is being amended past the original cut off day so the airline has time to deal with employees who request an exemption can have their request reviewed - that does not mean that their request will be approved nor does it guarantee job securement if their request is denied.jcdenton wrote: ↑Oct 22nd, 2021, 9:50 amThere is no longer a cut off day. The policy is no longer in effect. They aren't getting rid of unvaccinated employees. Could this change in the future? Maybe, but as of now, direct quote from the management: "Initially, we communicated that these Employees would be put on unpaid leave and that is no longer the case"
Its usually a lot easier to understand an issue if you actually read the words and sentences as is, instead of just picking a word here and a word there and trying to form your own sentence. Religious Extremists use that tactic as well, pick words here and there from their respective Holy Texts, form their own interpretation and use it to brainwash their flock - and just like Religious Extremists, the misinformation False Prophets have their puppets firmly in their grasp.

Well, seeing that most airliners have portable AEDs on board, and by the pattern these critical "thinkers" have demonstrated over the last year in their mental capacity, that would mean that the crew would now be considered "healthcare workers" and those who decided not to get vaccinated would, by default, be "experts".

4% isn't hundreds of thousands.
Sheesh, some people post the most " I know for a fact" stuff, get busted then change their tune
Out of that 4% I wonder how many were planning to leave their jobs anyhow ( long hours, pretty thankless, for many long term problems from back strain, etc

The FAA NEVER said that. The weather maps proved it. You are just lying now. You always lie.OKkayak wrote: ↑Oct 22nd, 2021, 8:48 pm LOL, I'm sure that there are a handful of employees who started the rumour and some of them probably decided to call in sick in protest, which doesn't equate to organized labour action sanctioned by the Union or the employees themselves, and if they did take action into their own hands, not only do they have to deal with their employer, but the Union as well - regardless, its been confirmed by various authorities, including the Union themselves, that this is just horse.

I did read it. Its sounds like you have no idea whatsover about how unions works. They fight for worker rights and opt to go on strikes when workers don't get what they want. If many workers have varying grievances with the company, they can all go on strike until their demands were met. Getting rid of the vaccine mandate was one of their demands. I'm sure there were others also.Did you even read your article? Ok now you are just deliberately dancing around semantics. We get it, you hate to admit that the unvaccinated were right, but thats a reality you are just going to have to slowly wake up to, sorry bud. Fact: SWA had a policy to put unvaxxed employees on unpaid leave. They got rid of that policy when workers retaliated. End of story. You can try to paint it whatever way you want, but that is the reality. Go back to kindergarten if you can't read.In other words, the mandate is being amended past the original cut off day so the airline has time to deal with employees who request an exemption can have their request reviewed - that does not mean that their request will be approved nor does it guarantee job securement if their request is denied.

Their union said there was no walk out.
They should know.
https://www.dallasnews.com/business/air ... -mandates/Southwest Airlines and the union representing its pilots say that crew members didn’t call out of work sick to protest vaccine mandates and cripple the carrier’s operations during the busy holiday weekend.

Which employees? Ground crew, bag smashers, commissary, flight crew, fuelers, ticket agents ?
What employees "confirmed there was a walk out" ? Just because there was good weather at one airport, doesn't mean that all the weather in between and at the destination airport doesn't cause cancellations. Add in feeder routes to the same HUB.

These paragons of truth and bastions of freedom are unhindered by the controls you so vividly imagine.

Oh but they did, several times in fact, and they had to repeat it several times when the "critical thinkers" kept pushing their conspiracy nonsense.
And if you knew anything about how Unions work, you'd know that there is a whole procedure involved to taking labour action, employees can't just take matters into their own hands nilly willy - doesn't work that way.jcdenton wrote: ↑Oct 23rd, 2021, 8:54 amI did read it. Semantics are very important, like the fact that there is no lawsuit against the vaccine mandates.jcdenton wrote: ↑Oct 23rd, 2021, 8:54 amOk now you are just deliberately dancing around semantics. Has the mandate been amended? Absolutely. Why? Various reasons including the fact that SW could face some scheduling issues if they aren't given more time to review exemptions beyond the original date, and right in the middle of the holiday rush. There's a lot more to this than you are being spoon-fed by your False Prophets - but if you think this is simply because a few pilots may have decided to call in sick, then thats your prerogative.
Oh, when it comes to anti-vaxxers, I'm pretty much bang on, they truly are as dumb as wet sack of potatoes and they prove it day after day, week after week, post after post
