Re: Worrisome observation considering covid
I guess we should have been locking down, distancing and masking every flu season since it took its first life. How selfish we all are...Kodidad wrote: ↑Oct 23rd, 2021, 10:28 amHow about last year. At this time last year we were in the middle of a lock down. Wash your hands, social distance, wear a mask, and a flu vaccine. Done. What happened? No flu. Apparently our preventative steps worked for the flu. Now we have another tool in our arsenal against covid and that is the vaccine. Any reason to doubt that a similar result might occur if we were all vaccinated?AtlantisKelowna wrote: ↑Oct 22nd, 2021, 4:42 pm
Ok well, how about the fact that there was no flu season last year. You know that as well as I do but admitting it might go against the narrative.

Re: Worrisome observation considering covid
Thank you for bringing that up. I did mention 3 other things that also kept the flu at bay. People still got the flu last year, but at a much reduced incidence. Not one thing will prevent the flu, or covid, but a well armed, well armored soldier going into battle might still step on that landmine. So should you go naked into that battlefield?W105 wrote: ↑Oct 23rd, 2021, 10:38 am^^ you really think the vaccine is the cure for covid ?? if it was then every vaccinated person would never get covid again, but they still are..Kodidad wrote: ↑Oct 23rd, 2021, 10:28 am

The flu, like covid will always be here. Protection is the best preventative. If you live totally off grid, you are probably safe and do not need a vaccine. Nor do you have the need for money or work.
MY OPINIONS MEAN NOTHING, SAME AS YOURS

Right, it just disappeared. Makes perfect sense that not a single person catches the flu and everyone has covid instead. Now that they have the wool pulled over your eyes the flu returns, how convenient!Kodidad wrote: ↑Oct 23rd, 2021, 10:28 amHow about last year. That tool you speak of is a princess auto special, I'll wait for the snap-on version to hit the market.

2,000 flu cases last year, down from 35 million.
Does anyone actually believe that?

Yup....the power of the MasK and social distancing......ekir8 wrote: ↑Oct 25th, 2021, 10:47 am 2,000 flu cases last year, down from 35 million.

Mask wearing, social distancing and other steps to stop COVID-19 have also curtailed influenza...... Influenza viruses are transmitted in much the same way as SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19, and they are less effective at jumping from person to person.
