It can be different every time you go to a place. Sometimes good and sometimes meh.

Wings on Hwy33 in Rutland has a good burger as does A&W most of the time. DQ as well.

McD's in the Mission is poor and can never get an order right.

Fatburger can be good too.

Why exactly is everyone lamenting a franchise burger joint? They are a dime a dozen. If I crave a good burger I'll either go to Wendy's or Red Robins.

Best burgers I’ve ever had was on my own bbq and from my kitchen, to hell with burger joints.

Went to Five Guys once when it first opened and we never went back. We do go to Burger Baron in Rutland still. Can't beat their mushroom burger or the amount of fries you get there. The market is loaded with burger places, have to have a certain niche to get people in.

I liked Five Guys but haven't eaten there in years. Have never understood the appeal of Burger Baron - always thought their burgers seemed like they were made from the cheapest possible ingredients. Bin Four Burger Lounge makes the best burgers I've ever had.

Sent an e-mail to Five Guys asking about the Westbank location and if they were considering opening another location in either Westbank or Kelowna. This is the response I got this morning.

Thank you for your inquiry regarding our West Bank location. We are looking for a location in Kelowna. Hoping that we are able to open next summer.

There's a place in the food court down at Bellis Fair mall in Bellingham called "Two Guys Burgers" - don't recommend it

There is a chance that those in the Okanagan who have an affinity for Five Guys Burgers and Fries will be able to get their fix once again in the future.

The valley’s only Five Guys location had been located in West Kelowna’s Snyatan Shopping Centre, but it closed permanently in September.

Five Guys spokesperson Jessica Lloyd said the company is actively searching for a new location in the Central Okanagan.

“Our international team is always looking for just the right space to open a new store, and we hope to find a new location in the Kelowna area soon,” Lloyd said in an email to Okanagan Edge.

Now on Castanet. Swiss Chalet is also closing on Nov. 7, 2021 following the care home in West Kelowna and now also the sale of seven care homes too. Keep your eyes on these bouncing balls.
