Now on Castanet. Swiss Chalet is also closing on Nov. 7, 2021 following the care home in West Kelowna and now also the sale of seven care homes too. Keep your eyes on these bouncing balls.

Swiss Chalet failed in Kelowna... now in West Kelowna, that sauce does go well with fries.

How is a nine year run a failure? Seriously, it's is NINE years longer than most new restaurants. Not a failure by any means.

Used to go to the one in Kelowna a few times a year during the fall/winter. Used to be really good value, half chicken dinner was $15 and it came with a soup, bread, fries, dessert and a little Lindor chocolate. Honestly, I love their chicken, they put a lot of paprika on the skin, tasted just like my mom's chicken did.

Well, turns out Metro Van's only Swiss Chalet is shutting its doors Dec 27th. Guess we'll be heading up there one last time as another part of growing up becomes nothing more than a memory.
