Leader of the Caucus of Crazies Marilyn Gladu schools us that, "Polio is NOT the same frequency risk that we see with Covid19."
It's hard to believe conservative areas of the country routinely elect people this stupid.

Re: Reform/Progressive Conservative crack forms
Steve Harper might have been an egotistical creep, removing all portraits of previous PMs from the hallway and putting up multiples of himself, but he NEVER would have allowed this Gladu anti-vax group to even surface. He would have thrown them out of caucus. He demanded unity. O'Toole doesn't. Is there another potential leader for the Conservatives who could unify them? I don't see one.

The CPC infighting gets more and more laughable by the day. What an embarrassing time to be a conservative. And flippy O'Toole is still hiding, showing Canadians that he is a totally incompetent leader.

Re: Reform/Progressive Conservative crack forms
For a guy who is constantly touting his brief military service protecting Ontario's cottage country, O'Toole sure is O'Wimpee.
One third of his caucus is pushing the wacky, insane views of about 3% of Canadians, and he's pretty much OK with it.
But then who knows? Maybe he'll flip-flop on this tomorrow.
He must be the first invertebrate to lead a political party in Canada.

Re: Reform/Progressive Conservative crack forms
He came out of hiding just long enough to do a little O'Toole back flip routine as he tried to 'splain away the Gladu loose screw caucus. The footwork was a bit out of sync, but really quick to avoid saying anything or making any sort of decision. I have never seen a more indecisive "leader" than O'Toole. The way O'Toole comes across the biggest decision he is able to make is whether to wear black socks or navy blue - but then maybe he wears one of each...Pappywinkle wrote: ↑Nov 8th, 2021, 12:47 pm The CPC infighting gets more and more laughable by the day. The poorly though out press release on the unemployment numbers and economy was also really dumb dumb. Fact free, and got immediately roasted in the press.
That situation with O'Toole is almost irrelevant, as the factions in the CPC are clearly lining up for a complete circus. Gladu is out to form a mini-PPC within the caucus, Wagantall is probably writing another private members anti-choice bill - and that will be just the beginning of the CPC circus. The only question will be how many sideshow freak tents are put up - and when they will choose another erstwhile ring "leader". Of course there will be blue outhouses...
The middle path - everything in moderation, and everything in its time and order.

What? Who are you referring to now? Erin O'Toole served in the Canadian military. Anyone downplaying that, especially cowardly Liberal DI's, are pure scum.crookedmember wrote: ↑Nov 8th, 2021, 2:49 pm For a guy who is constantly touting his brief military service protecting Ontario's cottage country,

It's not like Erin was a decorated hero on some meaningful battlefield - he was just a meh soldier. I guess we can be thankful for paying for his education? Is that it?The Green Barbarian wrote: ↑Nov 8th, 2021, 4:34 pmWhat? Who are you referring to now? Erin O'Toole served in the Canadian military. Keep up the good fight!! 7 out of 10 Canadians are rooting for you to defeat the pure evil that is the far Left in this great country!!nucksRnum1 wrote: ↑Nov 8th, 2021, 7:37 pm

Sounds like a majority Conservative gumment coming. Man, do those polls ever swing. Or was the election....... stolen? The Green Barbarian wrote: ↑Nov 8th, 2021, 7:46 pmand yet he served, unlike the scum he faces in Parliament every day, and the scum paid off by the PMO to attack him. I don't know what a "gumment" is, I assume this is the typical inability of brainless communists to spell even the most basic of words? But yes, we can all hope that eventually Canada is turned over to a government of actual adults as opposed to the idiot loser children we have now in the Liberals and the disgusting NDP. We deserve better!! Much better than the scum we have now. Pure scum indeed.

Yup. He just hung around long enough for the free education that his wealthy politician father didn't want to pay for.
That's pretty much the way it is with these Republican Conservatives. “Ask not what you can do for your country – ask what your country can do for you.”
It's too bad he didn't stick around long enough to grow a spine and some courage.

I agree that Canadians deserve better than the pure scum we have now representing the CPC. With the many factions of the party being preoccupied with infighting over anti-vax rhetoric, the CPC is a total embarrassment. And through it all the lame duck "leader" flippy O'Toole hides in the dark letting the CPC scum further embarrass the party on the national stage. What an embarrassing time to be conservative. The Green Barbarian wrote: ↑Nov 8th, 2021, 8:09 pm We deserve better!! Much better than the scum we have now. Pure scum indeed.

Yup, Erin "flip flop" O'Toole has clearly shown Canadians that he's completely spineless, being either too afraid or too incompetent to show even a spark of leadership while the CPC crumbles. And to think there are still Canadians dumb enough to root for the complete embarrassment that is O'Toole's CPC, whichever faction he's representing now.crookedmember wrote: ↑Nov 8th, 2021, 9:12 pm It's too bad he didn't stick around long enough to grow a spine and some courage.

The embattled CPC leader, Mr O'Toole, has announced his Opposition shadow cabinet. Significant omissions are Lewis and Gladu and others who have not announced their vaccine status or made unhelpful comments about vaccines and their administration. Also Poilievre has been demoted. However, Dan Albas has been given a prominent position as Social Development critic while Tracy Gray gets the Small Business position.
While this announcement is an attempt to paper over the cracks within the Caucus, it really highlights the problems and the division. Those left out will feel the isolation and that will cement their uncooperative extreme views and encourage further splits. Mr O'Toole would have been better to banish the members of the "anti-vaccine" caucus and then work to build a strong opposition to the Liberal/NDP government programs.
Unfortunately, weak leadership, name calling, and muddled policies seem to be the marquees of the current CPC and its supporters. This is certainly not the Conservative Party of old. At least you knew where they stood and they had strong leadership. Today and tomorrow I am looking for strong, articulate, and thoughtful policies and the ability to analyze and offer viable criticism. I do see that from the current version of the CPC, their leader, or most members of their Opposition Caucus. This is now a fractured party and unfortunately it's irrelevance is growing.

We can’t fight homelessness, hunger, or poverty, but we can fight climate change. The juxtaposition of the now and the future, food for thought.
