I wonder which pastor isn't a fraud, I've never heard or met a honest one.

That's just your bigotry talking. I have a friend who was a pastor, and he is as sincere and generous as they come. I've known several others, and almost all of them were completely honest, and willing to give you the shirt of their back when you're a crisis.

That must have been a long time ago. Now we have mega churches making a buck doing vaccines. And that pastor gets paid 6 figures.

Stop bickering

:topic:
Sufficiently advanced incompetence is indistinguishable from malice. There’s a certain point at which ignorance becomes malice, at which there is simply no way to become THAT ignorant except deliberately and maliciously.

Tax the cults to the fullest. Big business is churches. This coming from a blazing capitalist says a lot.Put all the money back to the First Nations and sexual assault victims. How can people still be supporting these places. Very sad.

"...Oh but that wasn't OUR kind - It was THAT kind..."

lol

If you still think that distinction is going to make any real difference - well, go ahead and hang-on to that for as long as it lasts.

ah man - good times.

The amount of open bigotry is society is jaw-dropping. There's a popular meme that says "when you're dead, you don't know that you're dead. The same is true if you're stupid."

This is also true when you're racist, anti-semitic, or bigoted.

When you proudly declare your bigotry in total unawareness of how ironic you sound, it's best to try and get rid of your own hatred before speaking further.

Because some Christians, Jews, Muslims, Sikhs, or Buddhists do X, that is no excuse to take away fundamental rights of the group in question.

Either you support universal rights, or you're a hatemongering bigot.
