Re: Hello Okanagan
I am not jealous and do not have any content I wish was promoted
Anywhere including castanet.
I Just wondered why castanet is promoting them.
In turn their channel and feed get hits and more ad revenue obviously.
I find advertising and commercial relationships interesting is all.
Original post was not a jab at the brothers or content
But at why some are prominently promoted.
Typically this would be done in an advertisement banner
As many other local businesses do and pay castanet for.

I watched a few episodes and wasn't impressed at all. Their schtick isn't about presenting any useful information about the place they're visiting. Instead it's all about asking silly and obtuse questions and trying entertain, which they fail at. I won't waste my time on these clowns.

Exactly my thoughts. Thus wondered what the relationship was with castanet.

Well clowns and Castanet seems a good match.Keepingit4real wrote: ↑Nov 15th, 2021, 8:02 am Exactly my thoughts. Thus wondered what the relationship was with castanet.

One could always ask Castanet.
Truths can be backed up by facts - do you have any?

I find it interesting also when you see businesses being showcased.Keepingit4real wrote: ↑Nov 13th, 2021, 10:45 pm Just curious why their content is being promoted on castanet.
Im sure all of us have a youtube or instagram feed.
Others in the same line fail to get the FREE advertising.
Just my thought.

There are sponsored stories that are paid articles, they are marked as such.
To get on the news for free for a business is harder, really depends on the day and mood of the director, angle of the story. My old business has been featured on Castanet.net few times, and its not as easy as just asking them.
