I agree. It’s not easy. I don’t buy anything on line, it’s not going happen with a man.

Mathematically speaking.... Just the sheer numbers. I'm repeating it because I'm sure that there is no better or efficient way.
Lets say there are 250,000 people locally in the valley. Say 1% of them are doing OLD. Out of those 2500 people say half are male (even though its more than that) so 1250 possible matches. Out of those- 99% are creeps, not attractive, too short, too tall whatever- leaving 12.5 perfect matches within the valley.
How many people can you meet during a night at the bar? How many quality ones that fit your check list? Maybe meet a few. Maybe none that fit the check list.
If a person spent a week all day every day on OLD they could literally sift through thousands and out of those thousands, there is a good chance the check list items can be all found.
Doing it the pre internet way took months years or sometimes never or the way wrong person. Still end up with the wrong person, but I'm just saying that the ability to filter those unwanted/ wanted qualities/traits out/ in is way better now and if a person put in the time, even if its weeks, they will find what they seek.
Also there are specific sites that people of certain common interests can meet- Over 50 Silver singles is it?. Dating for dog lovers. Dating for horse lovers. S&M wearing a batman suit- whatever.

That's assuming a finite amount with no breakups, deaths, coming of age, new hookup every weekend etc

I know people that have OLD profiles. They can search all genders apparently if they are a member of the site. I drill them on questions I have- get them to check out the site ratios etc I cant remember which ones but some sites post the male female ratio on their main page.

Any searching I've done has been without a profile or being a member of whatever site. There are a few that you can search without being a member. Cant reply or anything without paying or being a member

I think if you’re going to string someone along or play games, take your butt out off the dating sites.
If they’re not ready to mingle, that’s fine. They can look what’s out there, but shouldn’t play games.
