You are the only person claiming that flu has been eradicated. Health officials expect it to return during this winter season. So a "pause" for one season is not eradication.

You are being way too hard on Pfizer.
They have not been the perfect company, (is there such a thing?) but they have brought many good drugs into this world, making it a better place.

One good example is the drug Sildenafil.
Now there is hard evidence of another benefit of that drug.
Results showed adults who took sildenafil were 69 per cent less likely to develop Alzheimer's compared to people who didn't use the medication. 

69%. That's huge. Can you imagine 69% fewer men developing Alzheimer's?

So please, before you start slamming these pharmaceutical companies, look at the benefits they have brought us.

How can you confidently say thats the reason why? In the US as of December 31st the CDC want a covid test that can differentiate between covid and influenza. Covid and influenza have many of the same symptoms. There are reports of people testing positive for covid when they are non covid infections/sepsis.
