My wifes grandpa is 87 years old . Eats a bowl of vanilla I’ve cream everyday and minds his own business.
As for the topic some people believe only eating when you are hungry is key. Not shoving your face full because its time. The more good stuff you eat the less you will crave the bad. Lazy has us pecking at whats easy and easy is bad.

That's actually a healthy meal you described there, its the vegetable oils and processed grains and other garbage that's bad.Noisy Boater wrote: ↑Jan 4th, 2022, 9:14 am When I have a large T Bone medium rare with a baked potato swimming in butter and sour cream I will have a caesar salad to balance it out!! 20% of those in the hospital over the holidays are detoxing from alcohol or with alcohol related injuries.Fancy wrote: ↑Jan 3rd, 2022, 6:13 pmThat's all well and fine but covid is still there causing hospitalizations.WESTman wrote: ↑Jan 3rd, 2022, 3:59 pm Countless other videos from Tanzania the last couple of years of life being fully normal, no masks, social distancing and a tiny vaccination rate. Should have been a disaster but it wasn't, travel was open to the country for anyone to see. Sorry but it blows the mainstream narrative to bits, countless other examples.
Why isn't this a story?
Aren't they slowing down our Healthcare system, taking up beds & slowing down hospital wait lines?
But sure, keep blaming covid.

The 2017 is unavailable according to them for now. Dang it. Just a 2009. Well that just wont do!! The pairing recommendation says poultry lamb and pork. I need a twist top and something I can get at the XOXO in Guayabitos!! My wine selection usually comes in a gallon jug with the finger loop in the top. Like the A n W jug!!Bsuds wrote: ↑Jan 4th, 2022, 9:30 amThis oneNoisy Boater wrote: ↑Jan 4th, 2022, 9:14 am When I have a large T Bone medium rare with a baked potato swimming in butter and sour cream I will have a caesar salad to balance it out!! Not sure why you would quote me regarding something to do with Tanzania - I'm not the one blaming covid.
Truths can be backed up by facts - do you have any?

If there was no lock downs , this would be 100 times worse .

Well gee, if I owned a winery in Keremeos I might not say that out loud for *reasons*.
It's like these lefty liberals have been gaming us with the same schtick for centuries and we're still not catching on. They'll tell us firing cannonballs is hazardous to our health, but they'll never give us the full story.
Take this guy below as an example.
"They" say he was wounded by a cannonball in the battle of Waterloo in 1815. Sure, but we don't have any idea what underlying health conditions the pink mist that was expelled from the rear of the soldiers armor might have had. "They" don't even suggest how old he was! Meh, some old guy isn't going to survive having a lung vapourized, but that shouldn't stop young healthy people from enjoying a little cannonball play, every now and then - right?

(I don't always agree with you, but I do always consider your POV - you're one of the best on here as far as critical thinking around data goes - I hope you see this as having a little fun with a popular line of argument, and not you.)

I'm not sure about the lockdowns but if there weren't precautions then yes it would be worse - we're seeing how this virus is progressing rapidly.

Re: If There Were Zero Lockdowns
If there was no lockdowns , more police services like this one would declare emergency due to staff sick with covid
https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/manitoba ... 3Dsharebar
Staff shortages due to COVID-19 have created a state of emergency within the Winnipeg Police Service, Chief Danny Smyth said Wednesday.
The service currently has 90 active COVID-19 cases and 170 personnel are on COVID-19-related leave.
"We have some real challenges ahead," Smyth said in a news release.
The chief declared the state of emergency under the authority of the service's collective agreement, redeploying 80 officers to shore up the ranks of general patrol.
"The current COVID-19 situation has significantly impacted our staffing resources. It has become necessary to execute parts of our business continuity plan to ensure essential services – particularly in general patrol," Smyth said in the release.
More officers from other units will be moved to other areas to backfill.

I want to support as well, but the way they did this is just completely immature.
I'd have a lot more sympathy for this gym if they actually just respectfully communicated with the worker who has to have RCMP backup just to do his job.
Sure, the gym doesn't have to agree with it. But then just have 1 camera rolling and talk respectfully without yelling at this individual (I assume IH employee) trying to respectfully do what he has been told.
