Read any good books lately?

I am a John Grisham fan and recently finished Sooley and The Judge's List. Always quick, easy, interesting reads.

Just finished The Midnight Library by Matt Haig, great novel.

I started reading "Into the Drowning Deep" last night after I finished my Stephen King book. I'm already hooked and less than 15 pages in.

I just finished "Where the Drowned Girls Go" https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/576 ... d-girls-go in her Wayward Children series. Excellent book.

Just so you know, I'm thinking of you off and on while I read this. "I can't believe she made it halfway through this without freaking out..."

50% on my Kindle - and it had me doing deep breathing exercises. And skimming (which to me is kind of like watching a movie between the fingers of your hand).

And I'm a bit phobic about not being able to breathe so I ended up hyperventilating a bit before slamming the Kindle shut. Then I opened it, removed the book and went in search of something light-hearted . . .

I'm currently reading Mercedes Lackey's new book in her Valdemar series - called "Beyond". I'm really enjoying it. And I discovered she is a fan of Viva La Dirt League!!!!! She describes a couple of their characters in her new book, and I could hear them as I read the section they were in. Absolutely delighted me

I'm 80% finished and the 2 I want snuffed are still alive. I'm not happy.

Well. There was the whole boatload to begin with. But so far...Heather in the pod, and cameraman. There has also been a "mermaid" shot (3 times) by the two jerks I want snuffed.

The two that like to shoot anything that moves and that will bribe officials to kill endangered wildlife. I'm almost finished with the book and my wish is partly coming true. lol There's still time. I'd hate to have to go do it myself. hahaha "Here scary mermaids, I have some treats for you!" *splash*

I wanted to get on that darn boat and snuff them myself, but I know those mermaids with major teeth would get me first. lol
