They are going to lose their business. They must be so oppressed being asked to close during a huge wave of the pandemic. So glad my gym is responsible and cares about public health. ^^ the comment above you is just as ridiculous..international travel is allowed and nobody says a word but a small business saying show the data and proof and if it makes sense we will comply is worthy of jail time and a police dog if necessary...we have gone insane...as for this video and a few people being vocal saying free BC, who cares...like there isn't more important things in our society to freak out about that needs fixing...I fully expect to see more of this in 2022...

Plus that owner bullying a mann trying to do his job just proves this is about his $$$. Maybe downgrade your million dollar mansion you can survive a couple weeks staying closed. Agreed. My last encounter with the one owner, only a few years ago, left enough of a nasty taste in my mouth that I had to stop following them. I had known them since high school, somethings never change...

What this fellow has done by his own fruition is instead of complying with the mandate for two weeks and maybe allowed to open up his store again after that, he has shut his business down either permanently or is going to cost that business a whole bunch of $$$$$ to get it up and running again.
Depending upon how much fuss he causes in the near future will be the deciding factor as to whether or not he ever gets a new business license issued to him again.
His actions could also bring on lawsuits against him by the members. They can file suit for loss of use due to his breaking the law. If he has 1,000 clients that want a $100 refund each, he is going to be out $100,000.

If members are worried then they shouldn't go to the gym lol. It's not like the gym being open somehow affects members who choose to stay home.
