Way to go President Biden!!

The US economy grew at the fastest rate in 2021 since the Reagan administration
US gross domestic product -- the broadest measure of economic activity -- expanded 5.7% last year, the fastest pace since 1984 when Ronald Reagan was in the White House, the Bureau of Economic Analysis reported Thursday.
The final three months of 2021 got a much better scorecard than economists had predicted: GDP grew at an annualized rate of 6.9% in the fourth quarter.

Biden’s Poor Approval Ratings Could Drag Down State-Level Dems in Midterms, New Poll Shows

President Biden’s poor approval ratings could hurt state-level Democrats in the upcoming midterms, according to a new poll of voters in key battleground states.

Fifty-one percent of voters in a recent Cygnal survey commissioned by the Republican State Leadership Committee (RSLC) said they would prefer a Republican candidate who would act as a check and balance on President Biden and his policies. Just 40 percent said they would prefer a Democratic candidate who would support Biden and his policies.

The poll showed Republican state legislative candidates with a six-point lead on the generic ballot, with Republicans leading self-identified independent voters by 15 points.

Meanwhile, Biden’s approval rating remains under water: 54 percent of respondents had an unfavorable view of the president, while just 44 percent had a favorable view, the poll found.

Democrats in Washington, D.C., and state governments also struggled to garner support. Fifty-one percent of respondents had an unfavorable view of Democrats in Washington, while 42 percent had a favorable view. Democrats in state legislatures had a favorability rating of 44 percent, while 49 percent had an unfavorable view.

Republicans in state government were the only group with a net positive image, of 48 percent favorability and 43 percent disapproval.

Biden leading Trump, DeSantis by similar margins in new poll

President Biden is leading former President Trump and Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) in two hypothetical, head-to-head match-ups for the 2024 presidential election, according to a new poll.

The survey, conducted by Marquette Law School, found that 43 percent of adults nationwide would support Biden if the 2024 presidential election were held today, while 33 percent would vote for Trump in a one-on-one match-up.

Sixteen percent said they would choose a different candidate, while 6 percent said they would not vote.

In a hypothetical race against DeSantis, however, Biden polls slightly worse: 41 percent of adults nationwide said they would throw their support behind Biden, while 33 percent would support DeSantis.

Eighteen percent of respondents said they would vote for a different candidate, and 8 percent said they would not cast a ballot.

Only 29 percent of those polled said they want to see Trump run for president again in 2024, while 71 percent said they did not want to see him seek a second term.

How many VPs distinguish themselves?
Kamala has totally distinguished herself as a total failure. Just utterly useless. In interviews she is just completely clueless. What a terrible choice, all because representational politics won out over qualifications and intelligence.
Look at the disaster before Harris.....a regular door mat. I'm surprised the hair is still white with the bootlicking that went on.
And here we go with the idiotic off-topic deflection, what else is new.
Exactly, Kamala Harris is doing a better job than the person before her that was doing the same job.....at least she doesn't act like a doormat and a stool for the President to sit on.

Old senile flatulent Joe is in trouble now, as calls for his impeachment grow over the massive border crisis that he and the people in his administration created....

Talk about embarrassing - yet another huge disgrace for an already horribly disgraced presidency.

No, she's not doing a better job, she's doing a worse job than if a houseplant had been made VP. It's just been constant embarrassment with her constant cackling and stupid comments like "'It’s time for us to do what we have been doing and that time is every day" - what an absolute idiot. She was supposed to be in charge of the massive mess the Dems have made of the border, and she was too lazy and/or stupid to even go and see the border crisis first hand. She's just one giant massive liability to the Democrats, and a huge mistake that they can't take back. Not for another 3 years anyway.
.....at least she doesn't act like a doormat and a stool for the President to sit on.
If she could at least do that she might have some value, but given the President in this case is a senile barely cognitive imbecile, there's zero value to any support being given to this dumb dumb, by a dumb dumb.

President Biden again shows what strong American leadership looks like, a start contrast to his predecessor.
Biden signals a tougher stance against Russia. Will it deter Putin from invading Ukraine?

U.S. President Joe Biden's move to put 8,500 troops on heightened alert for a potential deployment to Eastern Europe, along with a $200-million US shipment of defensive weapons to Ukraine, suggests the administration wants to signal it is taking a more-aggressive approach toward Russia and the looming threat of a Ukraine invasion.

While some observers believe the U.S. administration is on the right track and have praised Biden's performance in handling this crisis, others say he has reacted too slowly — and his recent actions may not be enough to thwart Russian President Vladimir Putin's military ambitions.

"I think they've reached the conclusion — which a lot of critics have been telling them — that just threatening after-the-fact punishment … is not the best way to deter," said Alexander Vershbow, former deputy secretary general of NATO and a former U.S. ambassador to Russia during the Bush administration.

"You want to try to do things that have a preventive character," he said, noting the policy decisions of the past few days could've been executed much earlier. "I think there was a sort of hesitation in the White House to do this sort of preventive deterrence or active deterrence — not wanting to be the ones that are escalating the situation."

Joe Biden’s ‘Hunger Games’ Border Policies Are Deadly For Americans And Migrants

I recently made my second visit to the U.S.-Mexico border to see firsthand what is going on and to help find solutions. That’s two more visits than Joe Biden has made.

As a legal immigrant from Colombia, South America, who came here legally 50 years ago and followed the process to become a U.S. citizen, this issue is personal to me. I have deep empathy and compassion for foreign citizens seeking a better life in America.

In the Rio Grande Valley in Texas, I witnessed just some of the true human cost of Biden’s open border policies. These policies are not compassionate. They are barbaric.

My team and I met a group crossing the border illegally from Nicaragua. They told me they were held up at gunpoint by members of a drug cartel, and the women were sexually assaulted. The cartel took every item of value they had, and even cavity-searched them to make certain they had handed over everything. That was one “tax” these people and millions of others pay to cross the border, which is now controlled by international drug cartels.

This is the result of the Biden administration ending both President Trump’s agreement with Mexico to have their military protect the border and the “remain in Mexico” policy, whereby migrants would wait on the Mexico side of the border while their asylum cases were heard.

You already posted this lie. What a joke.

Meanwhile, here's what's really happening with illegal immigration in the US:
https://thetexan.news/suspect-charged-i ... y-per-ice/

Suspect Charged in Murder of Harris County Officer Was in the U.S. Illegally, per ICE

The man apprehended and charged with capital murder in the brutal shooting of Harris County Constable Corporal Charles Galloway was a citizen of El Salvador and in the country illegally.

Following a three-day manhunt involving multiple law enforcement agencies, the U.S. Marshals Gulf Coast Violent Offenders and Fugitive Task Force collaborated with Mexican authorities to arrest Oscar Rosales in Ciudad Acuna, across the border from Del Rio, Texas. From there, Rosales was transported back to Houston Wednesday evening.
Joe Biden and his joke of an administration are responsible for opening up the US border and causing a wave of cop-killing illegals to come across. It's always the same result with the loser Left - mass human suffering. Biden should be impeached over this.

Look at what President Biden is still dealing with.....

More than 2,100 children separated at border 'have not yet been reunified,' Biden task force says
More than 2,100 children separated at the border by Trump administration’s “zero tolerance” program “have not yet been reunified” with their parents, according to the task force working to reunite the families.

In a 22-page progress report submitted to President Joe Biden last week, the task force indicated that 2,127 children are awaiting their reunions.

A senior DHS official, in a call with reporters, blamed “numerous errors and misinformation” in data kept by the Trump administration for the cumbersome reunification process.

“No comprehensive interagency system was in place to separate parents and their migrant children,” the official said.
