Bkr. Is heart disease increasing around the World?

Post by Queen K »

Scotland has an increase in male deaths through heart attacks. No matter how you read this article, more are dying of heart attacks despite a decrease in mortality rates.

Where else could an increase in heart problems be true? The Philippines. A 17% increase. Did the Philipinnos adopt a western diet of red meat and saturated fats? :135:

Maajid Nawaz talked about this on Joe Rogan. He pegs it on the vaccine, which I suppose is still speculation. https://open.spotify.com/episode/1ugbn7 ... -oF3w&nd=1

the article about scotland said the stroke rate was high in 2020. There were very few vaccinated, and not till the end of that year.
Did Rogan have anyone on his show that thought it might be the Novel virus that went around the world in 2020?
Because unless it happens on Rogan's program, it's not legit information.
In April 2020 Scotland said they were undercounting covid deaths by about 40%. So how were those other deaths labeled then?
In the U.s. they didn't even have a reliable test for covid in April 2020, so how were the deaths labeled that they weren't sure if they were covid or not?

The fundamental problem is metabolic syndrome which include obesity, high blood pressure, diabetes, high blood sugar, heart disease Alzheimer’s disease and other related conditions. Driving this epidemic is the rise in Uric acid caused by an over abundance of Fructose (the sweet molecule that makes up 50% of sucrose or white sugar) in the typical standard American diet.
By its nature fructose is metabolized only in the liver. Fructose is converted to fat in the liver and causes Non Alcoholic Fatty liver Disease (NAFLD). Once thought to be a relatively benign byproduct, Uric acid is implicated in all the diseases driving metabolic syndrome.
By far the most up to date book I have seen so far, Drop Acid, written by Dr David Permutter which was released at the beginning of march this year. He covers all the known issues relating to high Uric acid.
It is important to note that the largest cohort of people having the worst outcomes from Covid 19 have metabolic syndrome. Obesity is but one marker but seems to be one of the strongest indicators of poor outcomes from Covid-19.
The idea that metabolic syndrome is caused by saturated fat and meat is just plain wrong. The real boogeyman is excess sugar and manufactured seed oils along with too many refined carbohydrates.
The non alcohol consuming countries of the middle and Far East also happen to be the highest consumers of soft drinks and also have the highest rates of metabolic syndrome.
The fact that many third world countries have adopted the Standard American Diet which is high in refined carbohydrates, vegetable seed oils (polyunsaturated fats) and loaded with high fructose corn syrup is the real driver of the obesity epidemic.
Societies such as the Inuit of the high arctic survived for thousands of years on a diet rich in saturated fat and meat and devoid of carbohydrates except for a brief period of time during summer when berries are part of the diet. On contact with modern western culture , heart disease and cancer were unknown among them.

Not "bingo" when the article was clear:
because their strokes or heart problems were identified later than they normally would.
Hospital visits were down because of the pandemic but with restrictions lifted people will likely head to the hospital sooner for a faster prognosis.

We also don't know what effect covid infection has after recovery. Some people may have lingering effects, or take much longer to clear all the virus from their system. This could conceivably have an effect on some organs, heart, kidney, remains to be seen.

Excellent post.
One would think the most important message getting discussed, acknowledged, respected and addressed in this is exactly what you reference here.
Obesity is one of the strongest most linked indicators for covid severity. Its stated clearly the countries that are at 10 times higher risk to covid severity because of such absolute disgusted, ignored health status of our people. Canada and USA are both on that list.
It's a shame we have focused more on making a young, healthy, fit teenager get his vaccine shots verses addressing the vulnerable needing to adjust their own personal lifestyles,,,immediately.
Pfizer's own reports state the vaccine is up to 50% less effective with in people with this condition. If Canada stat's show our Obesity, over weight, conditions to be as high as 64% how is this vaccine even contributing to what they say it is.
We will have achieved nothing with this experiment.
We have lacked to understand the truth and assist our society for the better.
Not only has despicable fight endured to make sure your neighbor gets his/her vaccine, we have completely ignored the opportunity to put this major contributing factor to all our covid problems into the discussion.
The future should not be to rely on vaccine's because we chose to.
Thanks for the mention of the book, I'll get it.

Considering that research and dietary advice for those who are overweight has been confusing at best, and detrimental in many cases, perhaps that all needs to be properly researched, and a more reliable advice, public education, designed. Many people have been following their doctor's and nutritionists' advice, with usually a gradual progression in their Metabolic syndrome, and in the long run need for medications. So if there's a better way, advice on Castanet is probably not going to influence more than a few dozen people in the world. Will additional costs be mitigated somehow for those who are low income, or what happens with the current trends in food costs, which are climbing every year? If you look at the cost of chicken, dairy, eggs, greens, for a family of four, it's easy to see why they might be using more potatoes, bread, oatmeal, spaghetti.

Meanwhile there's not reason why people cannot also get a vaccine, while improving other aspects of their health profile. These are not mutually exclusive.

After all this time you still don't understand why people don't want the vaccine? Seriously?

I understand why, 15% are afraid of the vaccine, but 30% of those in hospital/ICU are UNvaccinated. So they guessed wrong about their risk factors , and need to put on their big boy pants and get their vaccine.

Huh. I was curious about the prevalence of myocarditis (aside from possible associations with vaccines) and discovered that it occurs in 10-100 per 100,000. Although that's considered "rare" it is enough that sorting out which cases of myocarditis are due to a rare reaction to the vaccine, and which were ripe cases just likely to occur anyway, would be difficult.
I enjoyed the video about cannabis and cardiac arrythmias/infarctions, because we also know a lot of teens and young people are using it(and plenty of other adults), so it would not be surprising if that could also contribute to cardiac problems (triggering myocarditis) that might be mistakenly attributed to a vaccine. Then there are those cases which arise from some viral infection, sometimes with only mild symptoms, so the young person might not even realize they were particularly ill. There would have to be some very large studies to figure out whether there was much if any increase in a vaccinated vs non-vaccinated population (given that it's occuring in, say 50/100,000)
. Cardiovascular screening with MRI after Covid infection found a rate of 2.3% myocarditis among young athletes (many did not show symptoms).
Then there's Atrial Fibrillation, which occurs in 2-3% of the population (more common as people get older), and has poorer outcomes more need for ventilation, for those hospiitalized with Covid. Life-time risk of *bleep* (also known as atrial fibrillation) is 22-45%, with, general health, as well as a genetic tendency, so choose your parents carefully. Would you even know you had it? Probably not in the early stages, so there certainly could be a number of people with it, unknowing, at risk if they caught covid.
