How can someone who kills animals with a gun be an animal lover?
This is as dumb a comment as saying how can a farmer who grows vegetables be a lover of vegetables.
Vegetables don't have functioning brains....shooting a carrot =/= shooting an animal

Once again, missing the point. Hunters and farmers are the same in how much they care about the sustainability of their supply.

And yet the point still remains that vegetable farmers aren’t shooting things with guns so…

My uncle owned a farm and never had a gun and shot animals.

Yet here we are comparing vegetable farmers to hunters in regards to environmental sustainability and you are arguing that one can't hunt animals and be a conservationist.

No idea what your uncle owning a farm, yet not a gun, has to do with hunters being ethical and standing up for the environment...

^^^ was your uncle's farm in a remote or very rural area that calling 911 in a emergency would be pointless?

The farm was likely 3 tomato plants in a Kelowna back yard, but called a farm to try to validate a very weak and irrational argument point.

Reminds me of the kid in junior high that didn't understand why we raised cattle if you can just go to the store and buy beef.

Nope, please don't put words in my mouth.

I still don't see how farming vegetables has anything to do with owning a gun and killing animals but I think that was Barbarian's point and not yours.

Vegetables isn't food. Vegetables is what food eats.

If food comes on your farm to eat your vegetables ya gotta kill it. :D

Thanks for the laugh Veovis. Good one!
Sufficiently advanced incompetence is indistinguishable from malice. There’s a certain point at which ignorance becomes malice, at which there is simply no way to become THAT ignorant except deliberately and maliciously.
