Climate change? Not likely.captkirkcanada wrote: ↑May 13th, 2022, 9:00 am multimillion dollar homes burnt to a crisp as climate change fuels another devastating start to the season ahead.

People build houses in a near desert, each house on top of the other, surround it with flammable bushes, and the end result is......
Your house burns down.

Pretty much. People more so today, are setting most of the fires. Climate change does not set fires. Leftists are running around burning things down, from churches to forests in order to get sympathy or convince people of climate change. I think it isn’t ‘climate change’ doing damage, it is ‘leftist change’. lol

So you're saying that a run away grass fire is leftist arson? A carelessly tossed burning cigarette? A fallen over bbq while in use? A spark from a campfire? A smouldering fire left unattended? A hot catalytic converter parked in tall grass? A car fire? An RV fire? An EV fire? A glass bottle refracting the sun like a magnifying glass?Jlabute wrote: ↑May 14th, 2022, 7:43 am ^^^

Yes there are arsonists. In rural and urban areas.
Natural fires are lightning strikes. We get those too. Are you going to blame your alleged god as being a leftist? Although from what I remember, the alleged son was pretty darn leftist. The alleged father was a sadistic *bleep* psychopath.
Where climate change comes in is the ease of spread on tinder dry material that got tinder dry due to the overall climate. Or the wide spread effect of bugs that flourished in less intense winters and killing trees leaving them as tinder.
However it got lit doesn't really matter.

the green energy sector is in the pink of health and enjoying robust growth.
In fact, Russia's invasion of Ukraine has lit a fire under the sector, with the International Energy Agency (IEA) predicting that renewable energy is on pace to set new records in 2022.
According to the IEA, new capacity for generating electricity from solar, wind, and other renewables is set to hit new records this year as governments seek to take advantage of renewables' energy security and climate benefits.
invest in renewables as that is taking off like wildfires in america lolAccording to the IEA's latest Renewable Energy Market Update, last year, a record 295 gigawatts of new renewable power capacity was added to the global power grid, a remarkable achievement considering the crippling supply chain challenges, construction delays, and high raw material prices that the industry has been grappling with.
Renewable growth is expected to be even more impressive this year, with global capacity additions expected to clock in at 320 gigawatts - or nearly enough to match the European Union's total electricity generation from natural gas. Solar PV is expected to be in the lead again, with the sector on course to account for 60% of global renewable power growth in 2022, followed by wind and hydropower. Global additions of solar PV capacity are on course to break new records both this year and next, with the annual market expected to reach 200 GW in 2023.

Climate change isnt political . And yes it is a health issue so it should be in medical journals. Over 800 died last summer from the record heat .Jlabute wrote: ↑May 7th, 2022, 10:58 amIf the industry is self-aware and wants to save energy, they can also keep it to themselves, especially the climate hyperbole. We don't need medical journals filling with politically slanted narration. Teenagers are already committing suicide, the last thing we need are those in need of medical attention feeling too guilty to receive it. That is about all the opinion article will accomplish in response to Biden's Green New Deal.LovemyBolt wrote: ↑May 7th, 2022, 10:43 am
I think it's more of a self-awareness that the medical system has it's own emissions and that they're looking at ways to mitigate/reduce them. I don't have a problem with that. They're just musing about ways to do something about it. It's not like they want to take us back to the middle ages of medical practice. Or deny people medical attention saying uh no we can't help you...ghg emissions don't ya know. Not gonna happen. Why shouldn't all industries look at ways to reduce emissions?
Yes, all industries can aim to be more efficient. It is and always has been the natural progression of technology. Is there a rush to accomplish this in 10 years lest we all perish? No.

Thanks Glacier. I've seen a number of his videos, they are all pretty good. Biden is sure mixed up on his policies, what a *bleep*. His whole point is to make energy expensive but he goes ahead to unsustainably release strategic oil reserves. He really is left-stupid. I hope people don't invest in renewables since Biden will be gone soon and renewables will be a worse investment yet. Some people seem to be invested in inflation. Not sure how well ones investments are doing when JustinAndBidenflation and energy policies are sending most to the poor house.

So far in 2022, fossil fuel stocks have seen significant gains while renewable energy stocks have suffered as investors shun growth stocks in favor of value companies.

We all are going to learn something new right now .
Turns out photons can live in the infrared zone and someone figured out how to make a solar panel to use them photons to make power at (are you ready) Night .
