Tonight’s game better see improvement on defence and goaltending at both ends of the rink.

They don't call him McJesus for nothing. He can absolutely undress veteran defenseman like they should be playing PeeWee.

We will see how Calgary answers back in game 3, Edmonton still has a questionable defence that at times doesn’t help either goalie much.

St. Louis vs Colorado, St.Louis pulled their goalie for extra attacker and Colorado made them pay twice.

This is turning out to be a good series, I was expecting Colorado to blow St.Louis off the ice. So whoever wins the battle of Alberta has tough Western Final against either St.Louis or Colorado.

Tampa is another step closer to their 3-peat by sweeping Florida in 4 straight.

Whomever wins between New York and Carolina, better be ready for Tampa.

Winning the President Cup isn’t a good thing.

I watched part of that game yesterday (Just until NBA game came on) and I was kind of cracking up. TB made 2 goals and had them both taken away. The best part though was when I got distracted for a few minutes and looked back to see a guy hunched over heading for the bench. One of the announcers said, "He got hit by the puck between his belly button and his knees." [icon_lol2.gif]

If Tampa Bay 3 peat, they would be the 3 third most impressive dynasty in NHL history (behind only the 1980s Islanders and 1970s Canadiens).

Montreal won 5 in a row 1956 to 1960.... 4 in a row 1976 to 1979
New York Islanders won 4 in a row 1980 to 1983

Last 3 peat was the Toronto Maple Leafs 1962 to 1964

Winning 5 in a row when there's only 6 teams is a cakewalk compared to winning 3 in a row with 21 or 22 teams.

Odds of the Lightning winning 3 in a row (assuming random odds): 1 in 30,752.

Odds of the Canadiens winning 5 in row from 1956 to 1960: 1 in 7,776

Odds of the Canadiens winning 4 in a row from 1976 to 1979: 1 in 115,668

Odds of the Islanders winning 4 in a row from 1980 to 1984: 1 in 194,481

If Tampa could circumvent there Cap like they did last years Stanley Cup playoffs, they could have 5-peat.
Last year’s playoff they were 20+/- over the Cap in the playoffs and league couldn’t do a damn thing about it.

Calgary Flames fans are probably disappointed to be sent golfing. Edmonton now waits to see if they head to either St Louis or Denver.

Meanwhile Tampa waits to see if they head to either Carolina or New York.
