I suspect once she's feeling better you will be in trouble for that and she will never forget!
She's staying on the couch until we move.
If not, I'll fake it, sit and watch her pack up the rest of the house.

Over packaging is getting out of hand. Received a shipment from Amazon last evening - just got around to opening this huge box that was left on my deck.

Ok - carton contained 4 items - 1 measured 15-1/4" x 3-7/8" x 1-5/8", 1 measured 4-3/4" x 4-3/4" x 1-5/8" and the other 2 measured 7" x 3-3/8" x 3/4".

One would think the carton they were shipped in would be the right size, right? Wrong! Frigging carton measured 40-1/4" x 11" x 3-3/4". Only good thing is I now have a good size carton for all the other boxes that will be broken down for recycling.

I know, eh! Can you imagine the extra cost?

I ordered a fuse for my dishwasher. The actual parts box was 1 inch by 1 inch by 4.

The Amazon box was huge.

I was going to plant my flowers until I saw the forecast.
I suppose I’ll just have to sit by the fire and drink today :130:  :130:

Sounds like fun :)

I had hubby drop me at the dog park with Buddy before he went to run some errands.
Buddy played and then we walked home (which took 43 minutes according to my tracker).

Now I'm foruming, going to grab a book and some tea and chill a while.

Walking in downtown Kamloops yesterday with a buddy and we're coming up to a doctor's office, a doctor who specializes in "cosmetic surgery".

Walking towards us is a drop-dead attractive woman, maybe 30 and right in front of the office is another woman exiting a car, she's also very attractive and as well developed.

They recognize each other and it's time for hugs and giggles along with a couple of words that we over heard, something like "You have an appointment too!!!" :200:
Then they prance in to the doctor's office.

So this brings up the question, why do young, attractive, voluptuous women need a cosmetic surgeon? :135:
From what we saw, there wasn't any need for improvement.

Maybe they felt they didn't quite meet the current template for approval nowadays?

Moved into a new home and how can you tell an elderly person was living here.
Pretty well every light has an incandescent bulb. :200:

But one place that has LED is the range hood. Two 50W LED. So hot that my wife burned her hand on the top of the range hood.

I found the manual for it, they recommend the 50W LED. :200: What the....

Anyways, I used the little suction cup to try to remove the lights. No success. They wouldn't budge so I may have to take some parts off. :-X

There's got to be lights suitable for a range hood that aren't so powerful. This is just stupid.

^^^
Nothing as fancy as that.
Just a cheap NuTone range hood.
And it calls for a little suction cup to do the job. But it ain't doing it.

But damn, 50W LED, and two of them. They'll keep the kitchen warm.
