Re: Marco Mendicino should resign
Sadly it appears far right hatred isn't limited to elected government representatives, as it also applies to anyone who MAY have voted for them (eg. residents of Ottawa). Imagine being so far gone down conspiracy-laden far right extremist rabbit holes that one would full on hate their fellow Canadians just because of how they MAY have voted.
Thankfully Canadians have elected officials like Mr. Mendicino who will stand up to such far right extremism and protect the rights and freedoms of Canadians.

Re: Marco Mendicino should resign
It has already started G-F. Yesterday while driving I had radio on and caught part of a reporter’s talk with show host. The reporter was almost choking with disbelief as he outlined Freeloader’s nonanswers and obvious contempt to questions about her meeting with Bankers regarding freezing accounts of trucker supporters, an infringement rights of Cdns. Of course she didn’t take notes from such a Very Important Meeting.Gone_Fishin wrote: ↑Jun 16th, 2022, 10:02 amWhat's interesting is that now we see mainstream media beginning to report on Liberal Lies 2022 Version.
That wasn't happening after Justin's $600 million bribery.
Marco and Justin's massive porkers just may come to bite them on their pearly white arses.
Then the Reporter spoke of how mendacious Mr Mendacity (a hero to lefties) was, tripping over his tongue and trying to place blame elsewhere, frantically, even onto the RCMP, meanwhile protecting the “Mr Big” who obviously called for EA.
He said a lot of unflattering things about respondents in this investigation, but most telling is how all danced around questions with deflections and porkies.
Amazingly, this was a CBC reporter, but betcha he won’t be for long.

Sufficiently advanced incompetence is indistinguishable from malice. There’s a certain point at which ignorance becomes malice, at which there is simply no way to become THAT ignorant except deliberately and maliciously.

I've added a poll to this thread regarding Marco's continued tenure as Minister of Prevarication.

Unfortunately for what you want to believe is the solid fact coming out of the emergency act that over 6 different claims made by him have been found to be false, mis represented and/or mis information. Now, you might be OK with that, but others expect far more professionalism. Expecting more professionalism, honesty, integrity doesn't make some one a conspiracist, an extremist, or a Nazi, however needing to play ignorant to the facts, to accountability for these action does.Pappywinkle wrote: ↑Jun 16th, 2022, 10:09 amSadly it appears far right hatred isn't limited to elected government representatives, as it also applies to anyone who MAY have voted for them (eg. residents of Ottawa). Sad to need to create hatred and havoc all for the need to refuse the facts. All for the need to keep JT's crush alive.
There is zero credit supporting what a government has sold you via the main stream fake media that they own. There's stupid and then there's really stupid.
This from a reporter of the emergency act proceedings.
"Things are looking so rough right now that if this was a court case, Trudeau’s defence lawyer would be pushing for his client to seek a plea deal rather than risk the potential colossal humiliation of going to trial.
There really is no way that Prime Minister Justin Trudeau will come out looking good in the final report. He will come across as a leader who had an authoritarian hissy fit because for the first time in his tenure he’d faced serious protests against his leadership and so lied about what was really happening to attempt to justify an extreme over-reaction. This type of democratic backsliding is not a good look for a G7 nation.
What will the real repercussions of this be though? Probably very little and the feds know it. Like when Trudeau was found to have violated the Conflict of Interest Act (more than once), there’s very little punishment that comes with it. In fact, when the inquiry report eventually comes out, Trudeau might do what he often does when found at fault: try to flip it around and claim that it’s a teachable moment for everyone except him."

Re: Marco Mendicino should resign
informed voters all know that the EA was necessary, appropriate, and restrained in its efforts to restore the rights and freedoms to Canadians living in Ottawa. Despite the many sensationalist articles in news media that are desperately trying to argue semantics, the fact is that there were no lies/misinformation/etc in Mr. Mendicino's justification for the use of the EA.
It's been well documented in this thread by those echoing the convoy's demands that Liberals resign that their desires are rooted in hatred of Trudeau, all Liberals, and all Canadians who voted Liberal. Such extremist demands have no place in Canadian democracy, and Mr. Mendicino is just the latest Liberal to come under fire from far right extremists who need someone to blame for their persistent losing to Liberals.

Sadly the radical leftist hatred runs so deep to any one who stands up for Freedom of Speech and doesn't follow the shirt tails of this minority corrupt leftist liberal government

Except Mr. Mendicino isn't lying, it's just that vote-desperate conservatives are trying to argue semantics over why their pity parade was shut down. Canadians are so fortunate to have MPs like Mr. Mendicino who work so hard to protect Canadians rights and freedoms!

Please do a little review of exact statements that are on record being made at the investigation.Pappywinkle wrote: ↑Jun 17th, 2022, 7:04 amExcept Mr. Mendicino isn't lying, it's just that vote-desperate conservatives are trying to argue semantics over why their pity parade was shut down. I'll help out with only the first one I found. As quoted. Now your saying to everyone here what you what the truth to be, and yet one can easily find information where a lie was used with in context of what he was trying to say. Would you at least agree that the obvious is that he was being mis leading, mis representing what he wanted to say, more the truth?
"To be clear, what the minister actually wanted… What he meant to say, testified his deputy minister, was that was not ‘the advice’ he had received. He did say that it was, but that was not what he wanted to say. And what he wanted to say, is not what he said. "
.05 seconds of this video, "the advise we received from law enforcement was to invoke the emergency act"
Do you understand these words? Is it a lie or just mis representation in an effort to create false propaganda?
At no time did any of the management state this to Mr. Mendicino.
