Oh it's not done with they're just gonna figure out a more subtle way of screwing the tax payer without it being quite so obvious

Haha…I heard this on the news today on the drive home from grocery shopping today (choke]

I think you’re correct, they’ll be looking at lubricants to shove this down our throats when the exact timing arrives.
Sufficiently advanced incompetence is indistinguishable from malice. There’s a certain point at which ignorance becomes malice, at which there is simply no way to become THAT ignorant except deliberately and maliciously.

The best part will be that the job will be union first. And fair wages. God bless Horgan NDP.

Good to see the BC premier heard the voters on this unnecessary museum, far more important things happening to BC residents to spend billion + taxpayers dollars on.
I don't give a damn whether people/posters like me or dislike me, I'm not on earth to win any popularity contests.

Maybe he saw the polling numbers and his downfall in popularity and decided this wasn't the hill to die on.
I just hope the fence sitters realize how bad Horgan the Horrible has shown himself to be.
Really need to get rid of the NDP.
Why use a big word when a diminutive one will suffice.

Why? Because Horgan NDP are pragmatic and read the tea leaves? Perhaps conservative voters would have preferred that the NDP was more bombastic and shoved the museum down the taxpayer's throats? You know - like the HST after BC Liberals campaigning that they wouldn't do so?

Regardless of how you feel about Horgan, admitting and correcting this mistake is a great example of good governance.

It's that special time of year when conservatives stupidly act like they're not allowed to say Merry Christmas.

You don't see too many politicians admit mistakes and reverse a decision.

The real shame is this was politicized in the first place.

We need the museum to be replaced at some point, timing was of course horrible, but I hope this does get done in the future.

The timing was horrible? Really?
How about the price tag, a BILLION dollars. Or is that simply chump change to some of you?

And a shame it was politicized? Eye roll.

It was a good decision. I'm glad he changed his mind and was straight up with his reasoning with no excuses. Refreshing.
