You want USA to shoot 70 people, burn several others,
Overthrow Ukraine's president
spend $5 billion to corrupt Ukraine's government (and build secret USA biolabs)
Murder 15,000 Russian speaking Ukrainians in Donbass
go berzerk and blow up the Donetsk airport and their houses and continue a genocide for eight years
and finally, put a clown as president that promises to get nuclear weapons not to protect Ukraine from anything
but to destroy Russia for USA warmongers benefit.

Ukraine should always be neutral to Russia, considering 1/3 of them are Russians. You wouldn't make French
illegal in Canada and start murdering the French speakers would you?

Why would a country that pays pensioners $71.00/ month - not enough to properly feed a dog in Canada,
want nuclear weapons for USAs benefit? And why would they want the biggest army in Europe unless someone (the Yanks)
was planning a slaughter?

Whoa, oil platform.

That's a strange choice to bombard something that has no military value and has only civilians working there...Big accomplishment.

Beats spending a couple million to destroy an autobody repair shop (which the Russians did with a cruise missile), but is similar to hitting a train platform (which the Russians did with a cruise missile). So there is that.

Russian "precision guided munitions" always manage to hit to the ground, most times they even explode after doing so.

Well, I can kinda see those - repair shops can repair equipment and railroad infrastructure moves all the supplies to the front lines.

This war Russia started is going to be a long drawn out affair. When Russia suffers untenable casualties and or Putin is in the ground, Russia might pack up.

'cept, the oil platform was also supplying oil to the Russian military effort in Ukraine and was actively working as electronic warfare station. Seems the Russians aren't having much success in using Snake Island for those purposes. Spasatel Vasily Bekh (a Russian Tug) was successfully demilitarized last week while reportedly transporting a SAM system to the island. It currently rests at the bottom of the ocean and the it appears the Russians could have used that SAM system last night, but instead, multiple explosions on the island.

Turns out there isn't a War in Ukraine being fought by Russia. There isn't even a "special military operation", it's obvious to any person (that only gets news from Tass, RT and Sputnik) there's a civil war in Ukraine - nothing more.

I can't make this up, but Margarita Simonyan - that's her specialty, the reason she gets paid the big rubles and one of the reasons she get to sit down with Putin.

Well, looks like another large chunk of ukranian troops are surrounded, hundreds laying down their weapons. Troops in Severodonetsk abandoned their positon and moved to nearby Lysychansk area. (7,000). Still in a tight spot surrounded in three sides and cut off from supply lines. Not looking good for them.

Troops in Hirske and Zolote surrendered. (2,000)

Infamous "Aidar" battalion (Azov brothers) is blocked at Azot plant and will face either death or become POWs. (2,500).

I'll check some Ukranian news outlets and "indepedent media" to see how they're actually winning and about to kick Russians back to Siberia any day now.

No, this is what a war looks like. You hit them, they hit you. Nobody expects war to happen without the other party shooting back and landing a few punches. They sink ships, they shoot down planes, and they score a few surprise attacks. Everybody adjusts and presses forward.

At the end of the day, winning will come down to who will land some decisive punches. And Lysychansk might be one of these, right after Mariupol.

It's far from over though. Sadly.
