Save-On-Foods flyers will cease print flyers effective July 14th. Digital only with promises of lower prices and more deals.

The men in their ivory tower at Loblaw HQ have issued a memo to stores stating that only price matching will be "local" store flyers and YIG will not be honoured at Superstore as it's under the Loblaw umbrella. Doesn't make a damn bit of difference to them that YIG are independently owned.

Oh yeah, folks in Westbank/West Kelowna/whatever you call it are limited to Save-On-Foods, Walmart and Nesters since YIG, Freshco, Safeway are across the bridge and aren't considered local.

Superstore went to on-line flyers a few years ago. I detest them. So much harder to read.

As for Save-On, most times they're nothing than a large corner store. Prices are brutal.
We started shopping at one near us when we moved into town. That didn't last long, now we're sticking with Superstore.

BTW, what is YIG?
