Today I bought one of those watermelons, and maybe the fault was mine, but it had 1-1/4” thick hard rind that had yellow spots where it should have been white on the inner side.

The taste of the melon was no better than water…tasteless. No sweetness at all.

The rind was half of the melon…good for compost I guess. Figure price after removing rind worked out to $12.00

Anyone else try these?
