I thought our last crew wasn't the greatest, but I'm worried about some of the new people running for office. I just hope the electorate does their research before putting an X beside some of these names.

So far, with a couple of exceptions, we have a range of social misfits and political has-beens in the race. Early days, but given the current political climate, this could be scary. Those who say, “They couldn’t be worse than the present bunch,” may be in for a rude awakening.

If I lived in Kelowna, I'd vote for them just in spite of this mindset. Times change. If they didn't your ancestors wouldn't have made it out of Africa let alone Europe.

Seems like a solid reason not to vote for soft-on-crime Liberals in this race.

People need to do their due diligence and make sure none of these local Trudeau Liberals make it into municipal power. The worst thing for our crime problem would be coddling Liberals pushing to let "misguided little Tommy with his 47 prior convictions" off the hook.

There is nobody on this city council smart enough to be able to spin this. What they are good at is just keeping their mouths shut no matter what the issue is here.

........can you possibly see the likes of Given or Dehart in front of a camera "spinning" this..........their ing heads would explode!

Since when did municipal politicians identify with provincial and federal political groups? When are they represented in the house of commons?
