this in my opinion is absolutely unacceptable and just plain bad management of fire systems etc
this fire could have very easily been put out by friday evening :swear: :swear:
Do you have any recommendations for the experts as to what they should have done?

These were the weather conditions in the afternoon following the start of the fire.
Are you a pilot?
Would you have flown in those conditions?

Absolutely true. The turbulence in the valley near Lytton would have been wicked with wind like that. There are just too many amateur internet fire specialists. Imagine even thinking of sending planes into that.

Sufficiently advanced incompetence is indistinguishable from malice. There’s a certain point at which ignorance becomes malice, at which there is simply no way to become THAT ignorant except deliberately and maliciously.

I have superior profiling and management skills its as obvious as the ole pothole in the road ;; unless this BC wildfire systems can get more efficient management and accountability we will continue to see 20 acre fires balloon into 5000 acre fires such as this one;; too many chiefs as we use to say the white lake fire was probable one of the worst mismanaged fires in BC History
but they dont seem to understand and or really care its always "not out fault" even though it 100% their fault

Winds are generally staying calm for the next 24 hours. That should allow them to make some progress.

BC Wildfire Service is a fb page with up to date coverage on this fire and others.
As WW3 develops, no one is going to be dissing the "preppers." What have you done?
