Dating on a budget

Post by oldtrucker »

I was born wrong millenium. According to this article this girl will spend up to 300$ on a date.

She's kinda cute.
Call me.
Most I could ever come up with was cheese burgers at McDonald's. If I really liked her I'd even pay.

That's not the kind of girl you want if you're looking for a longterm relationship.
If she's this free with her own money, she'll blow through yours just as quick.

Not for me. I would prefer one that's a little on the frugal/cheap side.

I have never spent 300$ on a date. Maybe 100$ if it's the 3rd date and it's going really well.

I've learned that you never have expensive/long dates for your first date simply because you two might not click at all and it would be just a waste of money/time.

And in the age of online dating, there were some weeks when I had 2-4 dates lined up. Spending 100-300 on each date would have bankrupted me.

I’d never spend three hundred on a date. To me, pack a picnic, grab a bevi, 6.00 for worms, and go fishing 😁
That would be the best date ever

Yup. It's quiet, you can talk, spend as much time as you want together. Wait...you don't trap them on a boat with you do you?

Absolutely I do. I strip them down, have my way with them, then sit back and eat my lunch, drink my beer and fish. I leave them on land, as well after, so I can have peace and quiet and they can get the fire going
