Nope. The US supplied the Taliban with some arms including Stingers, to fight the invading Russians. Fighting Russia by proxy. Similar to what's happening in Ukraine. The Taliban in it themselves are not really a terrorist organization. They don't export it. If they knew what Osama was up to they would have kicked him out as many mujahedeen wanted to prior.
911 was perpetrated by Osama bin Laden and his merry band of al-Qaeda terrorists. One of the reasons he orchestrated the 911 terrorist attack was because the US was still on Saudi soil after the coalition pushed Iraq out of Kuwait.

Not sure what you mean by this. I bet some of the families of ones lost in the 911 attack were pleased that The US seals killed Osama bin Laden under Obama's watch.



Ukraine is in tough but if half the news reports regarding Russia and their issue with conscripts and the army in general is giving Ukraine a fighting chance to kick the Russian hoard back to their original borders. Won't happen I suspect until Poo-tin is not breathing anymore, too stubborn to handle a defeat while alive.

I think trying to counteratrack was a bizarre decision and Im not sure why the Americans allowed it. If you read between the lines it seems like they needed to show some payback for the $60 billion. A waste of men and material.

I don't know about Russia being done, but this is arguably the third collapse of the Soviet Union. (This time, while it was nothing more than a dream in an old gangster's mind.) It's likely things are much better for Ukraine than they appear right now. OSINT pieces don't tend to be put together from the forward operational units, those "selfies", we're seeing right now, are being published by mechanized units following and doing the mop up.

It looks good for Ukraine right now. Cautiously optimistic that they can keep this momentum going.

All of Europe is going to freeze this winter.

On the British TV the prizes they giveaway are not new cars, not vacations but "We will pay your energy bill for 4 months".

That sounds like cold war anti soviet propaganda with the "they have bread lines in Russia" sentiment.but this isn't Moscow in 1982, this is London 2022. Citizens get lottery prizes of "we will pay your energy bill". True dystopia.

Omg the writeup on the map is a little triumphant, "arguably the greatest blah blah". Exactly what i said above - even if its a masterstroke what then? Europe has shut down about 50%!! Of their aluminum smelters etc, NATO nations have used up their stockpiles (though i assume the Russians have too). Ukraine is facing hyperinflation, the fundamentals are not good.

I doubt the Russkies even try to retake this area. Theyll maybe keep a buffer at the border but clearly their focus is elsewhere.

Id say the Ukrainians just shot their bolt, I can only see it as a prelude to peace talks, to try and establish facts on the ground.

Too bad you don't click twitter links, you'd see what's going on in Russia today. It's not pretty and some hard questions are being asked. Something that's been completely unseen and unthinkable up until this point.

Kup'yans'k wasn't a thoughtless and whimsical objective. The Russian's can focus on anything they want, but resupply and logistics doesn't favour them without this important rail and transportation hub.
