Why haven't I heard about Dihydrogen Monoxide before?

The threat from this chemical is very real, scientists say. Dihydrogen monoxide is a factor in the deaths of hundreds of Canadians every year, and uncounted thousands of global fatalities. Most deaths due to DHMO are caused by its accidental inhalation. However, DHMO is also essential in producing nuclear power, and a common ingredient in pesticides. Even after washing, measurable levels of DHMO remain in almost all produce. But the danger does not end there. Also known as hydrogen hydroxide or hydroxic acid, DHMO also:

contributes to both the “greenhouse effect” and severe weather events
causes irreversible erosion to natural shorelines
may cause severe burns
in solid form, prolonged exposure causes severe tissue damage
accelerates corrosion in many metals
may cause electrical failures
decreases effectiveness of automobile brakes

The dangers of Dihydrogen Monoxide

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) declared in mid-March that greenhouse gases are dangerous to human health and requested permission from the White House to regulate the gases. However, there is a significant risk that Dihydrogen Monoxide — which, once heated, is the largest contributor to greenhouse gas — may be overlooked, as the EPA has chosen instead to focus on Carbon Dioxide.

Dihydrogen Monoxide Conspiracy
Current allegations suggest that the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) may be conspiring to cover up the whole DHMO issue. Attempts by DHMO researchers to elicit comment from the EPA regarding the possible cover-up were either ignored or dodged, leading researchers to infer the alleged cover-up. Incredibly, the EPA then attempted to divert attention from the real issue onto talk of the aesthetics and layout of the EAC's DMRD web site!

EPA Refuses to Confirm or Deny Cover-up
In spite of a direct query for information, the EPA refused to deny the existence of a cover-up. The researcher, who reported to us under conditions of anonymity, sent correspondence asking if the EPA knows more about Dihydrogen Monoxide than it is telling us.

Very dangerous for babies except in tiny amounts and only if purified first.

Fortunately the body can usually expel excess amounts as long as toxic levels are not too high in the blood.
