Rosemary braised lamb shanks served on a bed of roasted garlic mashed potatoes.

Last night, Curry Goulash cooked with Coriander/mint chutney and Tamarind chutney as a condiment.
Tonight, Fried cabbage with ginger, garlic, bacon, shaved carrots, snow peas and onions simmered in soy sauce until slightly crunchy. BBQ Teriyaki chicken and one of my specialties, fried rice.

Tender, young Coyote tail, braised in lapin juice (40 minutes), strained, sliced thinly and served atop a bed of steamed thistle down, side dish of wild green onions seasoned with aged mildew.
Dessert was fetid rhubarb leaves, pine needles finely chopped with extra oxalic acid over all.
I will have a restful sleep tonite.

Re: What's for dinner tonight?
My usual Halloween dinner:
(singing to self)
Nobody likes me everybody hates me – am goin’ to the garden to eat worms,
Big fat juicy ones long slimy skinny ones, etsy bitsy teeny tiny worms.
Now the first one’s easy. the second one’s queasy, the third one’s caught in my throat,
(cough cough)
(thinking)
My stomach is in a commotion, I want to lean over the rail,
I don’t want to dirty the ocean, so somebody bring me a pail.
Come up come-up - come up my supper come-up come-up.
Come-up come-up - come-up my supper come-up.
(low and slow voice) I’m coming… I’m coming for your head is bending low,
I hear the gentle voices calling… hasten Jason- bring the basin - opps slop- bring the mod.

at which point... I saunter-off to bed

Mixed greens salad with sundried tomato dressing, bakes lemon breaded chicken with (faux Greek) lemon potatoes severed with fried-almonds green beans, and for dessert "M&M Lemonicious" squares... **my favorite dessert.** (still frozen) (bet ya can't eat just one)

That sounds so yummy and comforting. I recently heard that in order for stuffing to be called "stuffing" it has to be cooked inside the bird...otherwise its called dressing. In all my 50 years I'm not sure I was ever told this.Tyrian-Quill wrote: ↑Nov 3rd, 2022, 5:16 pm
