US prices, US EPA claimed range...Bolt still #1 and #3. LovemyBolt. The fires and recalls are old news. Bolts are apparently flying off lots.

According to this site they had 40. So far. That's certainly worse than Tesla but they also make more cars. (I think) Certainly more models.

Right. Forty recalls for a dozen vehicles, compared to 17 recalls for a few Teslas.
Consumers reports was saying Tesla vehicles have about 50% more problems on average.
Heres the model 3 https://www.consumerreports.org/cars/te ... ability/#/ except for the self driving issues which no gas cars have so that part is apples to oranges , is same stuff all cars are recalled for , quality control or poor engineering .

Things to ponder on :)
Censorship may lead to lack of information and subsequent development of apathy, ignorance, conformism and general stagnation. It may threaten democracy and encourage subversive activities.

Now is this all hyperbole or is there some truth to this/ : https://driving.ca/auto-news/industry/e ... small-town

I'm glad we have site C coming on stream in a couple of years, but if BC were to go electric for the 3.5 million vehicles in the province, I'm wondering if that is enough or are we going to need expensive windy solar (delivered, not installed costs)

Do trucks from other jurisdictions coming into BC will be required to electric?

Probably true. If electric semi-trucks are the goal, and you want them to charge quickly with their ENORMOUS 600kWh to 1000kWh capacity batteries, you would need numerous 1.25MW chargers to accommodate as many vehicles that would be charging. So if you have a truck stop with 10 chargers, you need 12.5MW.

EV's are more expensive and use more carbon than deez vehicles before they are even sold to the end user. :135:

But while there is a carbon price before it gets sold the EV stops producing CO2 at that point in its life while the ICE vehicle just keeps producing CO2 as long as it runs ... it's a trite point that has been busted before in this thread ...
