She grew up in New York State where there was a large Jewish population so her closest friends were Jewish. She always admired the Jewish families because they expected a lot from their children, and drove them to excel.

My mom says that she thinks there's so much Jew hatred because people HATE with a burning passion those who keep proving to be successful. It's why Israel can do no right in the eyes of so many. Success can only be met with jealously and envy, and praise and compassion must be given to those who are poor, especially if it's their own doing.
